What a truly perfect place to pause and explore Durham. Stunningly situated up on the hill and and easy 20 minute walk (easy as it’s downhill) and a £7 Uber back from the city centre. Easy access to the A1 from here too! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely or attentive. Even leaving us a present in our room for the first night of our honeymoon. Next time we’re in Durham, we won’t stay anywhere else!

This place beats every other booking I have made on Airbnb. Deserves beyond a 5 ⭐️ Was in Newcastle for a short weekend trip, visiting family with my wife and 5 year old. Gary’s place was only 24mins from our destination, so it was not too much distance. Gary is great personality, friendly and chatty. Made our little girl feel at home. The apartment was in pristine condition you would not want to mess it up. Very private with sparkling bathroom (and sufficient bathroom supplies and toiletries) and lounge where you have several video collections and access to internet to stream online if you wish. So many free options for breakfast as well. Such a great deal for great price. I will certainly book this place again when next I am in the area.

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

A breakfast plate is arranged with a sunny-side-up egg, bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and a slice of black pudding. A cup of tea sits nearby, along with a glass of orange juice. The table has a neutral tablecloth with a dot pattern.

Avril & Angus were fantastic hosts, they couldn’t have been more attentive and the facilities and creature comforts on offer were second to non - in fact, they could rival that of a 5 star hotel! Such a homely, lovely place to stay. Julia was very kind and communicative. The room was really comfy and clean and I slept very well. The living room, bathroom and kitchen also had all the amenities needed which was great. I would recommend to anyone visiting and will definitely be back!

I had a very pleasant stay here, it felt like home straight away. Very clean , comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. Joanne is an amazing host , occasionally saying hi and having a nice conversation with me. I felt really happy here and will be staying again ! 100% would recommend as a peaceful and elegant getaway ! If you like nature and sunshine , Joanne’s garden is the place to be and Jesmond Dene just being a stone throw away for the perfect nature walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Townhouse. The accommodation was perfect, beautifully clean, very comfy beds and the hosts were so helpful. The breakfast at the pancake cafe was delicious too. Would definitely recommend, and we will definitely stay again. Thank you Jane and Robert.

We had a fab stay. A very comfortable, well laid out room in a separate building. Great to have parking. Ponteland was a lovely town with great pubs/restaurants and a perfect location for a walk round Northumberlandia and a pit stop to break a journey further South or North. Could easily have stayed longer.

We were only there one night. Would have stayed longer if our plans had allowed. Susan was very welcoming. Her communication throughout was excellent. We found her place very clean. Breakfast was included, which is always a bonus. The location is in a quiet cul de sac. It's a ten minute walk to the museums or the marina where there is a selection of bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Great service, friendly and helpful - I will come back to Bentley's and have already recommended Bentley's to friends. It's an amazing place to stay especially as a solo visitor to Newcastle wanting a single room rate. There is a social area where you can make a drink+ prep food downstairs as well as a cafe for breakfast and a small space upstairs so we'll cateted for. everything was clean, the room is small and basic but well planned and not cluttered. Just perfect!

Kevin was a welcoming host. Cozy room with hot shower. Great dinner at The Badger in walking distance, thanks to Kevin’s recommendation.

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were comfortable, able to to have coffee and tea in the room. Cafe next door that is cheap and nice for breakfast. Easy to find and parking was very useful!! Would stay again.

Stone Cottage is located for easy access to Newcastle airport and easy access to the city centre via the local Metro system, I timed my walk from the airport and it took me 8mins to walk from door to door! A beautiful home with fantastic facilities, Joan and Kevin are wonderful hosts. Another point is that their local pub called the badger is only a 5mins walk away, this is a fantastic family friendly restaurant/pub serving yummy food at a very affordable price weather your just fancy unwinding after a long day, drinking or eating here is very relaxing.

The room looks just like the photo. The whole house was spotless/clean/tidy. Avril & Angus were welcoming and really helpful - the perfect hosts. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice. And the in-room snacks & drinks were plentiful. Hoping to stay again next year xx

Lovely stay. William was an excellent host, extremely helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

Cade is undoubtedly the best host I've ever met! The best of the accommodation is Cade, the guy is sensational, it helped me a lot with everything I needed. The location is really great, the house is close to a supermarket (Tesco), restaurants, Arab food, and bus stop. The room I stayed was great, with good space and furnished. It's worth the price and service of Cade, which always does the best it can to help! Anyway, being directly worth the cost-benefit price, for the value of accommodations at Uk, and in Newcastle, just don't wait for very clean details. It's a great option for those who need to stay a cost-effective time. I am very grateful to Cade and one day I hope to return, as Newcastle is an amazing city!

The cafe of the Georgian Townhouse is one of my favorite places to go when I was studying in Durham. Jane and Robert are very welcoming hosts that made my family felt at home. The radiator didn’t heat up fast but Jane gave me an electric fan which helped a lot. The breakfast is amazing as usual (love the pancakes). Enjoyed our time very much during our stay. Hope to be back here again someday.
