Seas The Day is an 80 (ish) year old home, that housed fishing families from Newbiggin-By-The-Sea for decades. This spacious property has been refurbished throughout and is fully equipped. It is situated on a quiet residential street and a short walk from the main street (Front Street), the promenade, beaches, and the sea. Close by is the Co-Op, a butcher, a fruit and veg store, a fish and chip shop, and numerous eateries and pubs. This home is not set up for children. Pets are welcome.

We had such a lovely stay in Whitley bay. The house was perfect for us as a young family. Such a lovely downstairs open plan space and we really appreciate the toys left out for our little ones. All the amenities we needed. We had a few requests and these were accommodated and communication was quick. The house was in the perfect location for us - we hardly used the car and walked everywhere with so many good places to eat and get coffee on the doorstep. We just had the best week. Thank you to Jacqui and her family for lending us their home.

This place is fab for enjoying Tynemouth and Newcastle area. The house is lovely, lots of space for a group, great garden and hot tub. Beautiful views of the coast too. The metro line doesn’t affect your stay and was entertaining to have wizzing past. We would definitely book again if visiting the area.

Great little place and dead handy for Whitley Bay centre/beach etc. Wasn’t entirely clear from the listing that it’s a flat above a cafe right opposite the Metro station, which may have put me off but shouldn’t have worried. Very quiet at night and huge, comfortable and well furnished rooms. Really well stocked of basics like toiletries, breakfast food, tea coffee etc. Ian was a great host, very helpful and proactive. Definitely recommend

This is the second time we have stayed in this house - it has everything we need. Fantastic hosts (thank you!) The house is in a great location near the marina, close, HMS Trincomolee and restaurants (we really enjoyed Dhamaka). Very peaceful and comfortable stay. There is parking. Train station is very walkable, so we managed to squeeze in a great day trip to Newcastle during our visit. If you are looking for a place to stay in Hartlepool (or close to County Durham), we would recommend.

Had a quick overnight stay , ideal for latest groups with plenty space. Lovely view and fab Indian restaurant just down the stairs, ideal after travelling down from Scotland . Beds were super comfortable. Would defo use again if we have another event at the same sports centre.
