Julie’s place was perfect for what we needed. The back deck was so lovely during the late afternoon watching the sun go down, and the lounge room was very spacious. I would highly recommend staying here.

I booked this as a gift for my husband and sons for a weekend away. The place was picture perfect with local pubs and restaurants nearby. It’s very close to fish river and Oberon for those interested in fishing.

Great semi isolated location with small interesting town with all requirements within 4 kms. The place is beautifully peaceful and restful. Ideal for us.

We had a lovely stay at Diane’s place. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our son especially loved spending time with the horse and chickens—it was a real highlight for him. Diane and her family were really friendly and helpful. A truly enjoyable experience!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Roy's Run farmstay with our 2 young children. They were absolutely delighted by the farm animals literally at our doorstep, and especially the friendly goats who were always up for a feed. Liz and Dennis were so friendly and hospitable, and we enjoyed the tour of the farm on Dennis' vehicle. The farmstay has everything you could want for a family holiday - peaceful surroundings, a small swing set, trampoline, a quick drive to shops and the beach, and of course the animals. Our children are already asking to go back!

A great quick getaway location. Even with rain the view from the covered deck is beautiful and a nice peaceful place to relax, bbq and get through a few books!

We really enjoyed our time. It's private and peaceful at the back of the property (seperate driveway) and well located to nearby towns. The cottage is really comfortable and great value for money. Highly recommend also if you're keen on fishing and taking the boat out to Nillahcootie.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

Genevieve did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. I booked this as a surprise birthday getaway for my partner, and without me having to ask, Genevieve added a bunch of little treats to celebrate. Everything was super clean, and the little things like turning on the towel heater was a great touch for our stay. Both my partner and I had the best time, using the fire pit to toast marshmallows gifted to us by the hosts, and enjoying the beautiful sunrise with a cup of tea overlooking the most peaceful landscape. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice getaway, it is so worth the money.

I spent a relaxing week at this cosy and charming retreat with countryside side views. Tim and Chontelle were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. Chontelle checked in with me to make sure I had everything and even went out of her way to grab some groceries for me which I was very grateful for. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was a bonus for a toasty and warm experience. The farm animals were adorable, dogs were super friendly and cuddly. It was a peaceful, quiet and private getaway from Sydney’s noise and pollution! Highly recommend this unique rural retreat. Lovely accomodation. Peaceful location with gorgeous views - wonderful to see the kangaroos and sheep grazing throughout the day. Cute playground was enjoyed by the kids. Very well equipped kitchen with big oven - great to have a selection of spices available too. Responsive hosts and good layout with bedrooms away from the communal areas. Nice to have an indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Central heating worked perfectly. Beds were very comfy and it was a pleasant surprise to have small amenities (eg toothbrushes and paste) provided. Overall a great stay.

Jo was a great host - welcomed us as soon as we reached the place and offered great flexibility with check-in and out. The creek walk that she suggested from within the property was nice and my daughter still misses Toby & Rosie (two lovely dogs) that were our companions throughout the stay!

We stayed at Riverview for 3 nights with our 2 children and felt it was perfect for our holiday in Mudgee. Short easy drive into town. Beautiful surrounds and very peaceful. Place had everything you could want. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic family stay. The kids had the best time running around and playing on the big grassy area. The views over the paddocks are stunning. The house was comfy and warm. We couldn’t fault our stay. So much room and so so peaceful.

A Truly Memorable Stay, Our family had an absolute fantastic time. We felt welcomed and looked after. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure the kids were having a great time. They spent time with us each day, showing the children around the farm, introducing them to the animals, letting them help with the feeding, and even setting up an Easter Egg Hunt for our family. It was such a hands-on, authentic farm experience – the kids absolutely loved it, and so did we. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to go back. Mooey’s is a true gem – highly recommended for anyone wanting a genuine farm stay with caring hosts and a great atmosphere!

Wonderful quirky place, incredibly cosy, we loved the fire and the furniture set up, it’s made for relaxing. Great fenced yard for medium / large dogs, our pup loved sniffing around and exploring and we didn’t need to stress about the road. Full of thoughtful touches and the eclectic furniture is wonderfully styled. Thanks Zoe
