Great little home, Melissa was super helpful in organising around our travel and accommodating to our family and friends who also joined us. Even left us a bag of full of easter treats for our getaway. Lovely stay!

Great place for our family to stay in . Everything we needed and such an amazing view over the city and harbour . Super central location for the parks , city and beach . We really enjoyed our time here .

Great accom and especially the fact we could bring my Golden Retriever with us on holiday. Secure backyard for the dog and the cottage is so close to the oceanfront boardwalk. Enjoyed the sunny/sheltered backyard and even dined outside 1 night. Highly recommend this cottage and Deb as host.

Beautiful home, such a lovely place to stay. It’s really central but also quiet and private. Communication was proactive and made the whole process really easy.

We loved our stay here. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. We loved how quiet the street was, as we have little kids who go to bed early. Doreen and Jack are great hosts, and very friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at the penthouse with mum age 92 it was perfect for us easy access, stunning views and a real feel of luxury. Mum is not up to going out too much and it was a stunning place for staying in, while being close to beautiful coast walk and funky New Plymouth center. The staff were friendly and helpful

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

The walking group, comprising 12 women, had the most amazing three days at Sophie’s. It was everything, and more, we’d hoped for. Highly recommended!

Lovely, tidy, peaceful quiet place to stay. Not to far to drive into New Plymouth and easy drive to local shops.

We had a great time at the rural retreat. Our dog settled right in and it was everything we needed to explore the local area. Internet was fast and the heater made things toasty and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay - it was very handy to the iconic Whangamomona hotel, and met our expectations for a house of that era. Even though it was only a few doors from the hotel it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable as well.

We really enjoyed our 2-month stay at Allie’s house. The place exceeded our expectation when we first came as they have added some furnitures that were not present in the airbnb site photos (i.e, tempered glass round coffee table in the living area that serves its purpose) and they are very responsive to queries too. Besides the huge tidy place, the location is such a 10/10 if you want to stay in a peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with a nice view of Mt Egmont. It is not just the entire place that we love but also the hospitality and the friendly attitude of Allie’s family. My kids love playing with their dog too! Allie’s place is highly recommended and we’d love to stay here once we visit New Plymouth again!

We loved our stay here! The location is great and perfect for our half way stop between New Plymouth and Tongariro. The surrounding areas are lovely and you can walk for miles in the countryside. The games in the hall were great fun and kept us busy in the rain. The bedroom was much cosier than I was expecting - the bed was so comfy too (the heated blanket is a nice bonus!). We also loved seeing the glow works, very cool. Although we didn’t meet Tamara, she was very friendly over message and flexible on check out. Would definitely recommend :)
