The unit is cozy, with comfy bed, nice bathroom, dining and living area feel very homely. I especially like the kitchen, very complete with everything we need to cook decent meal, and free range eggs from their farm is definitely a plus point. Gayle is very thoughtful in tiniest details, for example: travel adapter, hot water bottle etc. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend.

Such a cool little space in a peaceful part of Taranaki. The security of knowing my pup was safe and sound while I popped out was also relief. Ended up extending my stay and it was effortless.

A very cozy wooden house. There are table tennis, ping pong, darts, and various board games indoors. There is a museum and Taranaki Mountain nearby for sightseeing and hiking. At night, you can enjoy the starry sky through the skylight in the house. The fireplace on the first floor is very warm, and the owners are friendly and easy to communicate with.

A small unit, but very well designed & planned, it had everything we needed. Beautifully and thoughtfully presented, immaculately clean. Lots of artwork & plenty of books to browse. Our hosts Jodi & Tanya were very friendly & helpful, and gave us a welcome pack of their farm produce, microgreens & veggies, as well as bread & milk etc. It is quiet & peaceful, without feeling isolated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short 3-day break and the accommodation was ideally suited for our family (2 adults and 3 kids) to flexibly explore the region. Great location just outside New Plymouth that was beautiful and really peaceful. Loved being able to eat out on the large deck overlooking the views. Kids enjoyed Lucy the cat and feeding the chickens. Accommodation was clean and homely, with everything you could need.

A spacious, spotless and serene cottage in a great location. You have wonderful views of Mount Taranaki and beautiful farmland. The farm stay is very private with a spacious outdoor porch which we used for dining. Everything that would make a stay comfortable was available. Definitely book this place. Another of our favorites!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Carrington Cottage! This home is so peaceful, perfect for pets! The sunroom on the side of the house was my favorite spot to sit and read while listening to the wildlife (birds, cows, sheep). We loved our time here, we hope to be back again next year! Notes: - Yard isn’t fully fenced but it’s big - we enjoyed sitting under the tree and reading. - No WiFi but we had great cell service so it wasn’t an issue. - About a 5 min drive to grocery store - Private & Peaceful, perfect retreat for a couple! We highly recommend this Airbnb - you are close enough to the city that it’s convenient. Kitchen & bathroom have all the basics. Hosts were responsive with any questions!

Grant and Tracey are amazing people and their place was simply magical. The animals are so cute and we were able to feed them ourselves. The spa was wonderful, it's super big and fancy. The house has more amenity than many other air bnbs I've been to. The hosts were always there to help and responded within minutes when I had to ask questions. We would love to be back!

A lovely spot in a very homelike setting. Holli shares her house with the guests but gives you lots of privacy. Our brief interactions with her were friendly and comfortable. Her little dog Brew was also a treat to play with.

Glenda is an amazing host very helpful and friendly. Great attention to detail and is a lovely place to stay where you are heading to or from in Taranaki.
