This place is incredible! We felt like kids again using the slides and swings. The hosts were so lovely, they’ve provided everything you could think of to enjoy the place, even in the rain. We absolutely loved it, couldn’t recommend the place enough!

The home and its amenities were wonderful. The main living area was welcoming and pleasantly pleasing. The outdoor deck with ocean view and sounds was fantastic. The spa on the front deck felt great after an active day. The kitchen was well-supplied and nicely appointed. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Rosandra Retreat 2 - Luxury unit

Unit 2 at Rosandra retreat is a HUGE 1bdr unit attached to an even bigger private residence. It has a second bed in the enormous lounge, a full size kitchen and great bathroom. Off st parking outsjde the unit and beautifully developed and presented grounds. Swimming pool, tennis court, cattle to view out the window. Friendly cats. A high quality accommodation on a pretty 5 acre block about 6-7 mins from town. Would book again.

We really enjoyed staying at Tiffany’s cottage. The cottage is extremely clean and tidy, decorated with beautiful flowers freshly picked from Tiffany’s flower farm, with the serene view of the farm from the deck. It rained half of the time during our stay there but the cottage stayed cozy and warm. The location is close to Nee Plymouth city and a few minutes drive away from the local beaches. It’s also very close to Pukeiti and Mangorei Track Trailhead going up Taranaki. Tiffany is very friendly and responsive, helping us finding the cool local spots and organic groceries and making sure our stay was comfortable. We had a great holiday experience despite the weather and we look forward to come back again in the future 🌼🌸

We had the most incredible stay at Mini’s beautiful beachside house. The location was absolutely stunning, with a walk way leading directly to the most secluded and private beach, we had it all to ourselves! The view from the lounge was breathtaking, and we truly didn’t want to leave. Mini was an exceptional host, responsive, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. She even rearranged planned maintenance to allow us to stay when we were struggling to find accommodation for our group. Her kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with all the comforts of home, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Heinrich and Nicayla were lovely hosts. They were understanding and adaptable to our needs and making sure we were comfortable. The home has beautiful views of the sea and all the comforts including two living areas. They offered thoughtful snacks, appliances and suggested. The space was clean, beautifully presented with high end and well kept furniture, bedding and carpets making it feel luxurious.

Great place to stay if you have reason to be in New Plymouth or north Taranaki. Works well with dishwashing and table and chairs outside, lots of space inside, very functional clean bathroom. Independent from their house. Friendly helpful hosts. Oakura has a great beach, wonderful general store, and good places to eat and drink. We loved the general feeling of generosity at Butler’s Reef, I mean the Air BnB - I think I’ve forgotten their name!

My sister's & I enjoyed our stay at Robyn's. It is a real time capsule & quite special as well as being homely & very welcoming. Nicely situated for Pukekura Park & town & beautiful views of the mountain. One thing to be aware of is that there's no WiFi, not that it bothered us. Definitely an eclectic cottage!

This was a fantastic 5 star farm star. Everything was thought of, all small details and facilities were made available to us, there were so many thoughtful touches. Great views of mount Taranaki and very relaxing place to stay. We would recommend staying here and wish we had longer. They have set benchmark high with this property.

We loved our few days at Grace’s place. It was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and was very handy having a washing machine and dryer! The 4 Square and cafes are just a 2 minute walk away and just a 5 minute walk down to the beach. Ōakura is such a beautiful village, we’ll definitely be coming back!

Thanks Debbie for a great stay. Location is perfect, quiet and away from the main roads, but still close enough to all the local amenities, shops, etc. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Loved that there is a washing machine available to use.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheree’s place! The house was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Everything was well prepared, and we especially appreciated the board games. We had fun playing Monopoly! Sheree was a kind and responsive host, and communication was always smooth. The location was great and made it easy for us to explore the area and relax. We would absolutely love to come back again!
