Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Nevada County

The location was very convenient for a ski weekend. Tahoe Dave's is almost walkable for ski rentals; Diamond peak is 15min away and multiple other places within 30 minutes. There conveniently were some open spaces/lots right by the house that we used for a bit of sledding. It was walking distance to the lake (under half a mile). The place itself was clean, nice towels and bedding, well stocked and the washer & dryer was very convenient. The fireplace and space heater kept things comfortable. Make sure to flip the space heater to non timer mode, and don't set the heat super high or it will get quite warm in there. The sleeping setup worked fine for us (pair of adults and 2 kids). The pull out bed couch / mattress being less agreeable than the bed, but no real complaints from the kids. Was also animal friendly but no animal dirt. We brought our poodle, but I'm allergic to dogs generally. I had no allergies nor saw any dog hair at all. We'd be happy to stay there again!

Our stay in Olympic Valley was outstanding and the perfect setting for a family ski trip. Laurel's home was comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare meals before our day out on the slopes. Returning to the hot tub and gas fireplace made for a relaxing evening. The back deck and hot tub have gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. There was plenty of space for 5 adults to spread out. There is a transport service that works via an app that will drop you at the ski slopes or a restaurant/bar or shopping. It is simple and easy to use which added so much convenience to our stay.

Yucheng was very responsive. The house was very warm and cozy located very close to Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski lifts. She's also a very good artist with many of her works on display!

Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

My family had so much fun visiting Ellen’s cabin - the house was great! Location was perfect, and the house had everything we needed. Ellen was super communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

This home was a gem! Great location, private and close to the ski mountain! The home was set up for guests! Every detail was very thoughtful with guests in mind. And we really appreciated the clean uncluttered space! We would love to stay in this home again!

This is our favorite place to stay in the wintertime at Tahoe Donner! It is walking distance to the downhill ski area which is a perfect place for kids learning to ski. The condo is comfortable, well-appointed and clean.

Great place to stay in incline near the shops and only 10 mins to northstar and 25 mins to palisades. Would recommend if you’re not traveling with more than 4 people.

The place is absolutely as nice as the pictures… a very pleasant remodel. And the location is great even among Ski Trail condos… ground floor and a super-short walk to the slopes. Highly recommended.

Cute little spot! Bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect for getting to Northstar quickly. Love that it was dog friendly, and had no issues.

It is truly a beautiful place . Made it a magical Xmas for us. Perfect setting and the home is gorgeous. It’s right next to the gondola and connected to the ritz . Easy access for everything :) Kate is awesome to work with :)

Host was very responsive and clear about instructions which helps because Palisades can be a bit chaotic. Location was excellent. Perfect for walking to lifts and rental services. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with enough towels for our stay. The only less than desirable thing was that the two queen bunks had a thin mattress that was a bit too firm and had a bit of an indent in the middle.

The house was great, very comfortable, spacious, and more modern than most mountain accommodations, literally 2-3 minutes to the Ritz via the shuttle so it's very easy to get to the slopes. The hosts were friendly and responsive and made sure we were taken care of! Around checkout we had some car trouble which kept us in the neighborhood for longer than we expected—while we didn't stay an extra night the hosts were flexible about storing our stuff and giving us access to the amenities to hang out for the day while things got addressed, which was super helpful.

We stayed at the house for three nights with two families and everyone fit perfectly. We walked to the snowshoeing trails and the kids skied as sugar bowl and it only took 10 minutes to get there. The cabin was warm and full of board games. We will be coming back next winter.!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb was the perfect base for our ski trip. The location couldn't have been better - we used the free shuttle to the slopes, making it incredibly convenient. After a long day on the mountain, we were so grateful for the comfortable beds. Everyone slept soundly! The entire place was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. The bathrooms were modern, and spacious. It felt like a little spa retreat. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient ski getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Scott’s place was super cozy and spacious to stay in. It’s great for a party of 6-8 guests wanting to enjoy NorthStar resort and the slopes. There’s an on-demand shuttle that picks you right in front of the cabin and will drop you to the Visitor Transit center where the lift access is- this was really convenient. The cabin has all the things you would need for making breakfast/dinner and have a comfy weekend stay. One of my friends decided to just stay in and read during the day- the views from glass windows are the best. The guest pass will let you access hot tub/gym/sauna in the rec-center. Scott was highly responsive and super accommodating upon requests for an early check-in and letting us park our cars on the premises for a few hours after check-out. Scott will make sure that you have checked-in smoothly and answer everything super-quick if you need anything in the house. Highly recommend the cabin if you want a Tahoe getaway and want to stay in the resort to be by the slopes.

I recommend Shannon’s cabin to everyone who is planning a trip to Tahoe. This is our third year in a row staying here and it never disappoints. Shannon is wonderful and responsive. I look forward to many more stays in the future!

We had a great mom’s and kids ski weekend here. Proximity to Tahoe Donner Skiing was excellent. Comfy house, thoughtful details, well-stocked kitchen. And so many board games and toys for kids. Also, really great sledding right in the yard. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed this cabin in both the winter and spring. It meets all our needs and is located in a special part of the Sierra.

Great cabin for our family of 4! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The linens on the beds were soft. cozy, and very pretty. We enjoyed the bathroom heated floor and gas fireplace. We would definitely stay here again. Great location to Sugarbowl.
