Apartment vacation rentals in Nevada City

We had such a great weekend getaway here! The main drag in Grass Valley is just steps away! We had so much fun walking everywhere! We didn’t drive our car during the stay! The place is better than the pictures! Had everything we needed! And extremely well priced! Would highly recommend!

I’ve already shared this listing with friends and family so they can experience it too! The location is amazing, the space is so lovely and we felt right at home. No detail was spared, from: locally produced shower products (that were amazing), little gold stickers to seal fresh rolls of toilet paper, beautifully curated decor, fresh croissants and the comfiest bed ever. You won’t regret staying here. It really is as lovely as it looks.

Peggy's place was a charming getaway. The garden area was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing under the stars in the hot tub at night. The town itself is beautiful and looks like a fairytale suspended in time. Peggy was a great host and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and a nice apartment for a quick getaway. We were able to find street parking fairly close and the location is great for walking to many places nearby.

Great location. Easy to find. Well appointed. Friendly, responsive and very caring Host. Easy to drive around and explore points of interest. There are good restaurants in the area, plus much more. Great experience, would love to come back in the future.

Paul’s place is spacious and inviting. The quiet woodsy location was serene but still accessible to town and our daughter was absolutely bananas for the zip line!

John's studio apartment was awesome, right off the main street, we could see the City Christmas tree right out of our window. The place was squeaky clean, and the most comfortable bed we've slept in yet at an Airbnb! We will be back.

We ran into unexpected circumstances during our trip and Carol went above and beyond to be accommodating to us while we faced uncertainty during our stay. We are so appreciative and we had a wonderful stay at her place!

Rebekah’s place is so charming. We enjoyed her attention to detail. The apartment was warm and cozy and beautifully decorated. Right in town. We walked out the front door and right into fun! Would definitely stay here again!

The Puppet Inn exceeded my expectations. The apartment is very well done -- very nice design & craftsmanship, impeccably clean. We were impressed with all of the little details with regard to decorations and amenities. Quality is the constant theme for everything Marisa and Ray have done in creating this special place, and we appreciated all of that. Charming would be one of many positive adjectives to describe their place. Also, ahead of our visit, I commissioned a custom art piece from Ray as a surprise gift for my wife. Marisa and Ray went the extra mile to help with the surprise reveal of the piece to my wife. At the end of our stay, we were so comfortable with Ray & Marisa, that it felt like we were leaving old friends. We were comforted knowing that they are now our new friends, and we look forward to visiting them again. I would recommend the Puppet Inn to any of my family or friends looking for a quality, charming place to stay in the Grass Valley area.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect for mountain biking and fishing. Brady was easy to communicate with and was helpful. We look forward to staying there again!

This spot is absolutely perfect for visiting during the Victorian Christmas in downtown Nevada City. Even if you’re not here for that, the walk is quick to great restaurants and shops. Merry’s spot is so cozy and perfect for what we needed, and I hope we can come back!

It’s a lovely tucked away spot, brand new interior, and very clean! We arrived after dark and the place was nice and pre-heated for us. We enjoyed the collection of art and books. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly stay again. Harley was a friendly and responsive host for any questions we had.

Brandon's place was beautiful and tranquil. Just what was needed. Such a calming space and location. Great light, all the amenities, the small details made the place really work. Brandon was very responsive and extremely helpful to us. When we had a brief area wide power outage from a fall storm, Brandon went out of his way to help us feel secure and supported. Really could not have been more wonderful to us.

Simply great! They leave you alone and let you enjoy your stay which is how it should be. I never had any issues but if you do Steve and his team come over right away to fix any problems. Everything about it is close to perfect.

Barbara was very warm and gracious and wanted us to feel at home in the studio. The studio is very spacious and everything in it is very high quality, often using distinctive natural materials - I particularly loved the bathroom and shower. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed was very, very comfortable. There is the treat of a walk-in closet, and the fact Barbara and Richard provide yoga mats (that really made me smile as I would have packed my yoga mat if I could have!) and pool towels an example of their thoughtfulness and the luxury feel of our stay. The location is tranquil - you feel you are 'coming aside' from busyness. And the pool is beautiful - it was delightful to be able to refresh ourselves after our long journey! The studio itself was miraculously cool even while the temperatures outside were so very hot. As you can tell, we really really enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much Barbara and Richard!

lovely space! I liked the backyard with the creek, lights, hot tub, and lounge chairs. VERY convenient location...it was a 5 minute drive to basically everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staying with Danny & Joanie was like staying with old friends. Communication was quick, clear, friendly & welcoming. Close to town feeling worlds away. Their place was as described. The pictures cannot encompass the serenity or breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views from the large deck. The swimming hole was absolutely amazing! They had numerous sitting areas by the water & it was exquisitely peaceful. The water was so refreshing on a warm summer day & the waterfalls & pools were simply gorgeous. That swim was certainly one of the highlights of our journey, as was meeting Danny & Joanie. They were so kind & thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met without ever being intrusive. The bed & couch were comfy. The kitchen & bathroom had all the essentials along with many little touches like flashlights by each bedside. We enjoyed meals out on the expansive deck. We left refreshed & feeling we had 2 new, wonderful friends. We highly recommend their place for a comfy & relaxing stay.
