Family-friendly vacation rentals in Netarts

This place is special. Coming from the desert regions of the western U.S., there's something magical about a deep forest setting with moss-covered rocks and giant redwoods right outside the door. It was exactly what we were looking for as a home base for our Oregon coast hiking trip. Many thanks to the hosts for being friendly, proactive, and helping us have a fantastic vacation!

Perfect place to use as a landing spot when enjoying Lincoln City! Walk across the street and see a perfect view of the ocean - with beach access!

This is my third time staying (once with all adults and twice with families with varying ages of kids) and we plan to come back again. You can’t beat the views, beach access , large enough house for big group, and overall beautiful and clean home. The kids and adults have a blast in the game room and theatre. It’s close enough to town, but also far enough away to enjoy the privacy and quiet surroundings. The hot tub overlooks the ocean and was the crowd favorite. All in all a beautiful house, great hosts, and the making for a memorable trip every time we come! My kids always say this is their favorite trip of the year (even the year we went to Disney!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Beach House. It was so welcoming with its cozy beach vibe and the beautiful views of the ocean from the living room, deck and several of the bedrooms. The layout of the house made it easy to gather together for games and meals. The bedrooms located on 3 different levels and the private back deck made it easy to have some time to yourself. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cookware and plenty of dishes for serving a large group. All of this and only steps away from the long, open beach. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us.

stayed here for four nights. The house was beautiful! lots of room and a nice view of the ocean every morning. the host was easy to communicate with. I will definitely be coming back to stay again!

We loved it so much we wanted to stay longer! We have frequented Manzanita over the years and Nomi’s Ark is now a preferred rental for us. Perfect location on a quiet street and the house was well equipped for our small family. Our 13 month old loved The hot tub is super clean and well maintained and homeowners have thought of everything to make your beach vacation stress free. We will definitely be back!

The peaceful surroundings and beautiful nature made it a perfect retreat. Our hosts gave us the best communication. My second time staying here and would definitely stay again!

Brianne was so responsive and accommodating. The house was cozy and comfortable and had all of the comforts of home. We woke up to a family of deer right outside the window. The view was spectacular. Our dogs were welcome and that was the most important thing for us. The local restaurants were so good. It was an awesome trip and we plan to return.

This is one of my favorite places to stay. It is so private and the yard is so beautiful--it enhances the pretty house. Landscaping is gorgeous. The house is so comfortable and clean; and I love the ocean colors throughout. The furniture and house are so interesting, too; I like the floorpan a lot. Two bathrooms being offered is wonderful. One bathroom is quite small but certainly adequate. Lisa is very talented at making a place comfortable and pretty and she thinks of everything one might need. Thank you, Lisa!

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

We had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy! The house is very comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is very close to the beach and Cape Kiwanda, we enjoyed exploring Bob Straub State Park, which was less than 5 minutes driving and definitely walkable from the house. The master bedroom was spacious with it's own bathroom and had such wonderfully soft sheets! The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality pots and pans. Families with kids might want to bring their own plastic plates/ bowls/ cups for kids. Otherwise it was family-friendly and the kids enjoying the games available. Thank you for hosting us!

Deb was an excellent communicator and prepared us with all of the information we needed to check in. Unfortunately the property we were to stay at had a last minute plumbing issue that was completely unexpected. Deb called us right away to let us know the situation and gave us the option to cancel. At that point we'd already come down a day early so were willing to wait to see if the plumbing issue could be resolved before we were to check in. The plumber was unable to fix the problem in time and Deb did her best to provide us with other options for a place to stay that night, but ultimately we decided to cancel. She was very gracious about our decision and we received a full refund. We gave her 5 star ratings for her excellent customer service. We did not actually stay in the home.

Our family enjoyed every moment of our 4 nights in this home. The vibe is super peaceful and cozy. The kitchen was more stocked than any rental kitchen we have been in. The view from the deck and the sound of the ocean was truly incredible. The walk to short beach is only a couple of minutes. We also walked to Oceanside beach a few times and it took about 22 minutes - you have to walk on the road but cars were super courteous. We discovered that the owners of the Market/deli in Netarts are vegetarian and they had some really great food options available - the samosas were super yummy! The Wi-Fi at the house worked great. We brought our two dogs and the gated deck was awesome for them! There are lots of puzzles and books to choose from too. Water pressure in the showers met the approval of our whole family ☺️. It was great to have the garage available so we could keep sandy shoes and wet towels there instead of in the house. We loved every moment of our stay and hope to visit again. ☀️

Shhh…best everyone doesn’t know about this great, fun location, and laid back town. Dennis’s place was clean and located by so many accessible beaches and misty walks in the woods. Would love to come back and explore more.

This place is exactly as described. Very comfortable to be in. Great layout and a quick walk to the beach. Exactly what we were looking for. Kevin is an amazing host.

Terri’s beach house was across the highway from the beach. It was very easy to walk to a beautiful beach location. There were shops and other amenities within walking distance. The house was very clean and well appointed. We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner using all necessary and available cooking equipment! The house has a lot of stairs, so it was a little challenging for my elderly parents. The bonus room was great for my kids who are both in college, but be aware that this room is in the back of the garage and not close to a bathroom. The primary bedroom was beautiful!

Overall a great location for family vacation. Blocks to the beach, nice little deck with distant view of the ocean. Smell and Sounds of the ocean all day long. Next to groceries. Clean, updated place. We had a great visit!

We had a wonderful stay. Very cozy and nicely appointed place. Convenient kitchen. Gorgeous view to the ocean. Troy and Sidney were very helpful and responsive. A small problem with the heater was fixed at lightning speed. We were very impressed.

Miel’s place was a fantastic getaway complete with amenities for a cozy weekend in any weather. The interior is charming, comfortable, and has a nice fun factor with the loft. The jacuzzi on the outside is wonderful even in the cold weather and is tucked away enough to feel private. There is only a short walk to the beach which makes it convenient for getting out there when the weather is nice. Miel’s place had everything I wanted and more! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Finders Keepers unit on the 3rd floor! The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking and completely unobstructed, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The unit itself was cozy, clean, and had such a welcoming, homey feel. It was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out – from the well-stocked kitchen to the binoculars provided for a closer look at the ocean view. The space was updated and modern, and didn't feel stuffy. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The pool was a big hit with the kid, and the convenient parking made coming and going a breeze. The location couldn’t be better – it’s close to everything we needed and so easy to get around. We’ll definitely be staying here again in the future! Highly recommend!

What a fantastic time we had. Everything was so nice and just the right size for a couple. Love that the clock didn't work on the wall, made me feel like time was going slower. Hot tub was perfect and great options for tv at night. The Shower was excellent and the Bed was extremely comfortable 😌 Thank you. Coming back.

The Sea gypsy is by far one of the best spots that I've ever stayed at. Troy and his crew are helpful and very good at communicating... I love the super easy walk right onto the beach easy for anyone to do!!! also unlike some places you stay and pay a cleaning fee and then you end up having to do a lot of the cleaning on your check-out list , Troy and his crew have very reasonable expectations of what needs to be done and they're more worried about you not forgetting anything then they are about needing to mop the floor or wash your towels. I truly enjoy everytime we stay here and look forward to our next stay at the sea gypsy

The kitchen setup was awesome. The balcony looked over the water. I loved the location. Bed was new and firm. I didn’t use the tv or pool. Highly recommend!
