The forest house is very nicely located. You walk up the Dwingelerveld in no time and there is a lot of privacy. The cottage is packed with amenities and tidy. Instructions are clear and communication is good. If you have any questions, they will respond almost immediately. In short, recommended!

It is a great house to stay with a large group, very spacious and with nice bedrooms. The brought games stayed in the bag; there is a table tennis table, poulebilart, shuffleboard and piano! And with nice weather you will have a large garden at your disposal. The beautiful stories of Peter and Milou about the house were the icing on the cake.

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

We are very happy that we were allowed to rent this house. It was a warm, comfortable and cozy home where we immediately felt comfortable. Everything was neatly taken care of, well maintained and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We are grateful to have been able to live here and would recommend to anyone!

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

Kaya's mobile home is tastefully decorated and everything was hassle-free. Even now in the fall it was nice and warm and comfortable. We were in Warns with a two-year-old child and a small dog. Thanks Kaya! Goy family

We stayed two nights in Miranda's chalet and enjoyed the spring weather there. The garden has several seating areas so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. Furthermore, the chalet itself was cozily furnished and the kitchen was equipped with kitchen utensils. We thought the bed was fine, but we didn't like the pillows and very thin and the double duvet a bit narrow. If we come back next time, we would bring our own pillows. In addition, the lights flickered in the evening every now and then when we used the oven which was a known "issue" at the chalet (which we found no problem because it stopped after we turned off the oven). We would definitely consider coming back again. Thank you Miranda for letting us stay there!

It was our first stay at this property and arrival, as well as check-in were straightforward and quick. Everything was clean and appropriately furnished. Since we arrived in the low season, everything was very empty and private in our area, which we really liked. The campsite itself is one of the most beautiful and comfortable we have ever experienced. A nice restaurant, a boat and bike rental are included and a great swimming pool with slides and play area. We had a great week and definitely want to come back. Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

Perfect for campers.... Everything the camper heart needs was available... Caravan was clean.... Decorated with love...Quiet campsite... Great little place

Super nice place and perfect location. Especially nice in good weather, as the terraces are very nice. There are also great canoes on site that are easy to drive. Birgit is always available for questions and helps quickly.

What a nice home, nice and spacious and very clean. The house also looked cozy and tidy. There were books and games available and in the kitchen we could use all kinds of things.

Lovely accommodation with all the amenities you need. We felt very comfortable. The area offers a lot to explore and the campsite is a good starting point for excursions

Wonderfully quiet and secluded place in the Frisian countryside. In the morning birds, in the evening twinkling stars. Nice gypsy wagon with good bed, cozy outdoor seating. Beautiful sanitary facilities with underfloor heating (nice after a freezer night). "Canteen" with kitchen, dining tables, comfortable sofas, wood stove, a closet full of tips for fun activities in the region. Highly recommend!

What a nice, fully equipped bungalow in a beautiful setting! The cottage really has everything you could need and was (and smoke) super clean. I was with my sister and we both had our own bedroom with a doubter. Everything was available in the kitchen, you can even bake a cake if you feel like it! The bathroom has a spacious shower with good water pressure. Mark responds quickly if you have any questions and is super friendly, and gives fun tips for the neighborhood on his own. The area is beautiful for hiking, especially nice with dogs. I would love to come back!

I don’t want to tell you how nice this place is as I want it to be available when I need it again real soon! Absolutely gorgeous townhouse with private car garage with electric door. Modern, spacious, clean and airy, and in the wonderful beautiful city of Groningen. Only half an hours walk into the city centre, and there’s an Albert Heijn just round the corner. Great value too.

Very nice spacious accommodation, for 5 adults. Fully equipped, even the basic necessities(toilet paper, salt, syrup, oil, coffee tea, dishwasher tablets, you name it). Supermarkets within walking distance. You can walk 10 minutes into the dunes to the beach. Very nice to take a look at the newly born lambs and calf. Had a lovely time. (The eco tour nearby also recommended)

Cute cottage in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Well-equipped kitchen/living room and bathroom. Lots of leaflets, games, reading and nature books available. A pleasant sleeping loft with a steep staircase to get there (not suitable for people who have difficulty walking). We took a long walk with our dog every day from the cottage. Through the dunes, over the beach, through the woods,.. wonderful! Marloes informed us that we could go to the cottage a little earlier and stay an hour longer. We liked that very much, worked out well

the apartment was super habitable and equipped for 9 people (also for cooking!). Those who want peace and a lot of scenery will definitely get their money's worth. Benjamin welcomed us warmly and was super nice and straightforward. We will be happy to come back :)

A few days are allowed to stay in the container cottage in the back of Vera and Remco's garden. It was wonderful. Enjoyed the unloading area/forest a few minutes walk away and a day ice skating in Thialf where we can cycle within 5 minutes. We had read in previous reviews that it could be cold in the winter, but it was fine for us to get and keep warm!
