Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nes

Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

The place is in a great location and offers a silence that is like no other. Really excellent for a secluded getaway! We had booked the accommodation spontaneously for one night, as our actual accommodation was overbooked. The owners responded incredibly quickly after we were able to contact them through the neighbors. Without their intervention, we wouldn't have known where to find a place to stay that night. So we had a nice family vacation. Thank you and best regards!

Jenneke is very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time and hopefully can come back some day. The house is spacious with a nice outside area, weather permitting. I just love Dwingeloo.

We stayed at the place for four nights and loved it! The tinyhouse is super nice and cozy. Everything smelled good, high quality and fresh. The communication was very friendly and Jurjen was easy to reach and accommodating. We would come back 🩷

Beautiful home, super quiet area. We are going there because of the beautiful house and not because of the surroundings. We basically can't get to the house. There is a pool table and air hockey table. 2 things that were less, but that was not to spoil the fun and we discussed it with the very friendly host. Fast communication. I was at the house because of my birthday and Nic and Sandra left a surprise for me. Very sweet!We were 12 people and had all the space. Stay was great just like last time!

Beautiful semi-detached farm, on a quiet street. Lovely garden. The house has a lot of atmosphere and is more spacious than in the photos. Ideal for 3 generations. Plenty of toys and the hot tub is a whole experience. Very well-equipped kitchen with nice long dining table. Good beds. One less point: old-fashioned door stools and wooden floors make the sleeping floor a bit noisy. The attic bedroom has a beautiful view, still such beautiful sunrise seen from the higher "throne bed" . Sinterklaas arrived in Sloten, what else do you want with 4 believing grandchildren. Despite the disappointing weather, coming in was warm and cozy. The farmhouse is very complete up to and including a stocked book and games cabinet. The forgotten hair dryer from home turned out to be no problem. This is also available. The beds are great too. Slept wonderfully under the down. In short, a wonderful stay and repeatable.

Very nice cozy house with everything we needed. Games, CDs, LPs and (cooking)books so enough to entertain you with bad weather. Tastefully decorated and in the kitchen also everything you need for cooking.

The "wagon" as Lydia calls it is really a little paradise. It is tucked away in a very green private garden, you have everything you need; lovely bed, beautiful outdoor courtyard, feeling you are in the countryside and within 15 minutes by bike (bicycles are ready for you) you are right in the center of Groningen. You just have to find it ok to walk to the main house in front of the bathroom. Lydia pampered us very much; we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Thank you for your loving hospitality Lydia! It was wonderful!

It was a nice place to stay. Near the dykes!

Jacinta is a great host. Outstanding hospitality. A nice touch of the complementary wine as well as the coffee on arrival. Every morning an excellent and varied breakfast with nice little touches. We also opted for the cheese fondue after reading the reviews from other people and we can say that this was also excellent with a great selection of food to dip into the cheese.

What a wonderful place! I have very much enjoyed staying in this lovely house for a few days. Nice beds, nice village and so much to see and walk in the area. Recommended!

We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

Great place to unwind. Super spacious and cosy place that's also good for kids. Lots of toys available, highchairs and cott / kids bed. Tons of sights to see and things to do in the surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

We had a very nice stay at Henk & Trea's place. The place had everything we needed for a relaxing few days and was just right for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings are very beautiful and thanks to the private terrace overlooking nature all around, it was easy to start the day in the morning and watch deer with luck. The chalet is really very lovingly decorated and cozy. That's why it wasn't bad that we weren't lucky with the weather. Henk was very accommodating, helpful, and always available. All in all we had a very nice holiday and definitely recommend the place! Thank you for everything :)

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Nice house with direct access to the water (+boat)

It was a great vacation, not least because the weather was great. But we also felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Renee responded very quickly and kindly to all questions.

What a lovely spot! Check-in was flexible and was very easy, as was the check-out. There was 1 under sheet of wrong size and this was resolved very easily and quickly. We were two couples and children and really enjoyed it. Cottage has every comfort, nice that there are two bathrooms, nice and close to the supermarket. Totally top!

Small cozy chalet with great value for money. Good access to hiking and biking routes as well as quite close to the beach. Check-in was very easy via the reception at the campsite. Wi-Fi and TV worked properly. Also recommended is the Indian restaurant at the main entrance to the campsite. All in all a great holiday with two people.
