Life is a journey is a great accomodation. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and in beautiful Yomitan. There a many cafes in the surrounding and a parking lots is provided. You can reach all parts of the island very good because you are located in the middle of many attractions. Beautiful beach are nearby. The only thing I criticise is that the mattress is a bit hard. In total I definitely recommend this place!

"The guesthouse was amazing; I loved the toilet!" said my ten year old son. For my part, I learned a lot about hospitality staying more than a week at Life is a Journey. It's a simple place and some of the stuff is a little frayed. But it's quality stuff and everything I wanted was right there where I looked for it, right down to the smallest details. Here are a few examples: toothbrush holders on the shelves labeled for each room in the bathroom vanity, washer/dryer, wash cloths especially for face, slippers for all occasions, a bike (!), extra blanket...the list goes on. Truly Manabu and his wife are experts at making people from all over the world feel comfortable. The second day we were already referring to the guesthouse as "home."

Host was very helpful and polite. The location of the accommodation is near most of the attractions of Yomitan Son.

Worth the money The location is a little far from public transport, but if you’re driving then it’s fine. Little room with very clean shared bathroom

The best place to stay near city. Walkable to bus stops, the famous stretch Kokusai Street. Super friendly staff especially Ms Melissa.

The Frenchman showed me around, but it was fluent in Japanese and very easy to understand. Apart from the room, there was a bath in the facility, and the powder room was clean and I was happy! Premium room with bed + workshop (?)We used it, but it was spacious and comfortable enough for the backpacker! I want to use it again.Matsuyama is a 15-minute walk, and Kokusaidori is 25 minutes away, making it ideal for sightseeing and nightlife! It was also nice to have a convenience store just a short walk away.

Myspace is located in an extremely convenient location and is in walking distance to the ferries to the outer islands. In fact, you can see the ferries from your room if you are on the harbor side of the building. Super clean and a convenient communal kitchen and helpful staff. The only issue is that most taxi drivers do not know about this place so make sure you have a map or the address handy to give the driver. Both times from the airport the taxi driver had no idea there was a place to stay so close to the ferries. My wife speaks Japanese so we could help them figure it out...so have a map and address ready to give them. Also, the driveway to the entrance is rather hard to see and not well light so the taxi driver may stop on the busy road but its a very short walk to the check in counter. It's a little far from American Village, but it was nice to have all the grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The owners are also kind!
