This was the perfect getaway for the two of us. A peaceful property surrounded by nature that offers complete serenity. We could sit on the porch for hours, simply watching the birds and enjoying the calming views of the lake. The house itself is cozy, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for two people. The host’s mother and the caretaker were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. While the photos of the property do it justice, the experience of being here is even better. One of the things we loved was how convenient it was to take a short walk to the market on the main road, where we could pick up essentials and explore the local shops. Ordering food through delivery platforms was also hassle-free, with plenty of options available and timely service. Overall, this stay was everything we hoped for—peaceful, comfortable, and well-connected when needed. Highly recommend it!

We will definitely recommend Shajan’s place. The property and location is as described in the description and photos. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood and easy access to the main road with lots of restaurants, clinics, hospitals and supermarkets. A huge thank you to the co host which I must mention. He gave us a warm welcome and made us feel very comfortable and cared for from the moment we walked in, was very responsive 24/ 7 and also provided us with local recommendations and helped us with local needs when our car broke down. Have to mention the property and all items provided for use bedsheets, kitchen utensils and pool were squeky clean. Shajan always provided us with a timely and on the dot response prior to our arrival and during our stay, Both the host and co host helped us with flexible check in, / check outs arrangements. We will definitely book again when back in Kottayam.
