Vacation rentals with breakfast in Murray River

Absolutely beautiful. Great location, beautifully styled and smelt AMAZING. The bed sheets were buttery soft and I had the best night’s sleep. Powerful ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Appreciated the fresh bread, milk and condiments 🩷

Karina’s home was clean, tidy and comfortable. We stayed with our young children and the location was conveniently close to public transport, and included all the amenities we needed. Karina was so helpful and lovely to communicate with, and always replied promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

What a fabulous cottage and a pretty little hamlet. If you like a dose of the 50's and a stroll down memory lane of what your grandmother's place might have looked like if she also has a touch of interior design skill, then this is it. Very cool furniture tops off a comfortable cottage in a quiet and convenient location, a 10 min stroll down to the middle of town and central to the greater Barossa wine district and endless cellar doors. 5 stars, thoroughly recommend as a cpls weekend, or as a 4 as the cottage has 2 very comfortable bedrooms to compliment that oh so cool 50's kitchen.

A fantastic place to stay. A great host who went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable and stress free. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet roomy house within walking distance to Ballarat city.

The accomodation was great. We felt right at home. Clean and perfect. Will definitely rebook. The cleaner was also so kind to contact me to let me know about a bag of mine that I accidentally left behind.

Jacks House 2 is an ideal place for one or two couples. Communication from our host Sue was great and check-in was easy. It is only 2-3 minutes walk from the main street in Clare and yet in a very quiet location on a street with little traffic. Our bed was super comfortable with high quality bed linen and the kitchen was very well-equipped, with generous breakfast provisions. We especially enjoyed the outdoor sitting area on the deck both during the day and evening. We really valued the privilege of having our small dog with us - thank you Sue!

Had a lovely break at Warburton. The House was just what we were looking for. Very comfortable with lots of extras. Great place to stay

Older traditional style B& B, Jocelyn was very helpful and no problems with later check in ( even met us with a torch to find the right driveway). Despite being an older property it is well maintained and clean with everything you would need for a comfortable night in, because it is a B & B there was a great selection of supplies and we really appreciated the orange juice. Our dog was also allowed to stay and she enjoyed her night as well.

Julie’s place was the most amazing base for our little family. She had thought of everything and it really felt like a home away from home. The location is amazing and she was super accommodating which was vital when travelling with a 7 month old.

We loved our stay at The Piano Factory. We truly felt like home and everything was convenient from where we are located. Although we had lots of family, we wanted our space and we could not have asked for a better location than this. Melinda and Steve made us feel so welcome, leaving snacks, milk and bread with some other knick snacks. They had the myki card available for us to travel around, umbrella and even shopping bags. They have thought about everything to make our trip comfortable. Thank you.

Better than expected and our expectations were high. Great spot, close to town but super quiet neighbourhood with off street parking, two great outside spaces (where we played played plenty if card games) and plenty of spaces inside to relax or seek solitude. Plenty of air-con if you are that way inclined, a unit in every room and a couple in living area also. Mesh s reens on doors and windows. Beds were lovely, large and comfortable with beautiful linen sheets and duvets. Plenty of full length mirrors (may not sound like a thing worth mentioning but lovely to have when you want one). Clean and inviting. Lovely fresh eggs, sourdough, bacon and butter supplied for breakfast.

I had an excellent stay at Helen’s apartment. It was so comfortable, and Helen went the extra mile letting me in, showing me around and telling me about all the local restaurants, bars and cafes. There was breakfast food, milk and a lovely bottle of rose in the refrigerator. I highly recommend Helen’s place as a base in Glenelg and Adelaide. I will definitely return.

We stayed at Leesa’s place for two nights in October 2023. Check-in was easy and all the instructions were very simple. Having access to a second key was really helpful for us coming and going as we needed. The location was perfect for us - a stone’s throw from Collins park, the lagoon, and Thorne Street cafe. Easy walk to the Baylis street along wide and leafy streets. The property was stunning - just as good as it looked in the pictures! A nice and relaxing space, with lots of considered touches. Leesa was also very easy to catch on message, and very friendly. We’d very happily recommend and return - thanks so much Leesa for a great stay!

We had a relaxing stay at Julie and Ron’s fabulous art deco styled home. The front of this delightful home, has been sectioned off for guests, giving us access to a huge lounge room, hallway, large comfortable bedroom and that amazing bathroom. Cereal, bread for toasting, tea, coffee and biscuits were available for us at no extra charge, and a selection of drinks you can pay for as well. If you’re a deco fan, you will thoroughly enjoy staying here and enjoying authentic decor. The lady lamp on the wall side of the bed is one of my favourites and I was delighted to see it was authentic and not a replica. Our stay was extremely comfortable, and peacefully quiet and the cool air was a welcome relief on such a hot weekend. We didn’t get to meet Julie, as their granddaughter was staying, but Ron gladly showed us through to the rest of the house and magnificent backyard, which he said we were welcome to use. Thank you for our wonderful overnight stay!

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was incredibly clean and cozy, providing a perfect retreat. The highlight of my mornings was the beautiful muesli for breakfast—it was absolutely delicious and a lovely touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

Our only complaint about our stay at Jo’s Bed and Breakfast is that we did not stay longer! Jo greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house as well as recommendations for dinner. The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated with little Christmas touches that made it feel homely and cosy. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view of the city lights of Melbourne in the evening - I would highly recommend to other guests seeking a peaceful and quiet getaway from the city. Wow, this BnB is exactly what a BnB should be, every bit of our stay was enjoyable. Henri makes the place feel just like home and the produce , breakfast, cheeses and wine is absolutely second to none, he really does make you feel special. Even asks about dietary requirements..you really can’t get better.. The linen is so clean and fresh, the spa is awesome, plenty of space in such a little cottage. Love the back room to sit with a book and a glass of wine… watching the little wrens eat the bugs. The whole Barossa is amazing, but to be able to stay in such a beautiful spot really makes it wonderful. Henri’s would be one of our favorite spots and we will definately be a returning customer… certainly value for money.

A wonderful Airbnb. Although on a major road it was really quiet and peaceful. Had an abundance of food and every appliance. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

This little cottage was gorgeous for a weekend get away. In a great location. A beautiful walk down the street to the local pub and town of Mintaro. Additional touches of cheese platter, wine, chocolate and a cooked breakfast make this bnb that little bit extra special. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Ross.

I highly recommend staying at Celestine House for a true Bed & Breakfast experience. Set in a private location with beautiful views over Guildford, there are different accommodation options -  we stayed in the 2 bedroom "Cottage" which was very spacious, especially each bedroom and the bathroom with spa. Our host Chris was very considerate of our privacy, but great to chat with as well. Chris being a chef provided us with tea and scones on arrival, plus a large cooked breakfast each morning, and we also opted to order a cooked dinner followed by yummy desserts for the first evening of our stay so that we could settle in and just relax. The local pub has super friendly staff and good meals, plus they showcase unique local artwork. With Castlemaine and Daylesford only a short distance in either direction there was so much to do that we wished we had booked to stay longer.  We will certainly be planning to return again as this is the perfect relaxing base for exploring the region.
