We had a fantastic stay—cold, but clear & sunny—a long weekend getaway from Portland. Michelle’s place was beautiful, with picture widows and lovely sunrise/sunset views of the Sound. The house was immaculately clean, and had all of the essentials and more. We cycled into downtown, around Alki, and ate at some yummy places within a .25-5 mile radius. There is always something to do on W Seattle, and Michelle anticipated our questions about cycling, restaurants or other tips. We would definitely return! A nice respite indeed…

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!

We all have a great time at Sandy Hook. Very unique community, with fantastic views. The whole island lost power after a major wind storm on Friday night. We were without power on Saturday, but Darrell made sure we stayed comfortable by delivering firewood, instructions for generator and helping, troubleshooting and navigating our needs.

Mardy and Kate's cottage is the perfect place for a Seattle stay. It is very close to the beach, with plenty of eateries and fun things to do all along the beachfront. The amenities in their place were above and beyond most other places I've stayed in. Snacks and drinks abound. The cottage was spotless and perfectly cozy. Thank you, Mardy and Kate! Nestled in this chic aerie, we enjoyed listening to jazz records and taking in the coastal outlook from expansive picture windows plus a broad deck. What a perfectly peaceful spot, where deer visited daily. The home is as comfortable as it is stylish, and every amenity was thoughtfully provided: kitchen with full range of equipment and high-caliber appliances, sets of dishes, mugs, glassware—all lovely. Bedrooms offered a range of bed sizes to suit all needs. A selection of books and games could entertain for days if the view savoring hadn't kept us occupied. We thank our hosts and count the days until our next visit!
