Our family loves to find special cabins where we can relax and reconnect. This house is incredible. If you love history mixed with luxury mixed with magic, this is it. We will be back. Stunning stars, snowy mountain top, big hot tub and a cozy indoor fireplace. Just loved it

Alex was SO FRIENDLY and easy to communicate with. And oh my, was this place magical. Alex’s home was tastefully designed and immaculately clean. My partner and I spent the days skiing at the Massanutten Resort and the evenings playing ping pong and air hockey and then hibernating in the comfy master bedroom. So much fun and we had the absolute best sleep either of us have had in months. I feel so rejuvenated after coming here, I will definitely bring the kids next time to check out the enormous water park that is basically across the street. This was bar none the best DC getaway I’ve had in the past several years. Thank you SO much Alex!!

Nick’s space is beautiful. We went in the winter, so we didn’t use the outdoor space as much as we would have liked. We did however do one evening in the back using the hot tub and fire pit for s’mores, which was the highlight of the weekend! The kitchen is fully stocked and spotless. The space felt updated and comfortable. The one downfall for us, was we wished the upstairs bathroom had been a larger full tub/shower. Other than that, the house in proximity to Massanutten and what it had to offer is great!

During our weekend stay at the Shenandoah cabin, my significant other and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The cabin was meticulously maintained, with its cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to its advertised amenities. We were not disappointed. While we were unable to visit the river due to inclement weather, the cabin’s proximity to the snow-covered woods provided a picturesque alternative. The snowfall created a breathtaking ambiance that we found to be a worthwhile trade-off. We highly recommend this cabin and extend our gratitude to the hosts for their exceptional hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful place. The views of the mountains from almost every room were breathtaking. Somehow the pictures don’t even do this place justice! Incredible. On top of that, the home was furnished and decorated beautifully, everything looked brand new, and it was impressively clean. The fireplace, hot tub, and snow capped mountains made for the perfect cozy ambiance for our winter weekend getaway. This would be our #1 choice to return for another mountain vacation, no need to look any further. Thanks so much to the friendly and gracious hosts, Jim and Lisa!

Our stay was very nice. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect cabin for busy parents looking to get away from it all. Culin and his wife were very responsive to any questions we had. We are hoping to rebook in the summer months to enjoy all the area has to offer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed the big dinning room table and the two living areas. A great place for family reunions or for friends to get together.

Had a great stay at Breanna’s cottage in Afton. Breanna and her husband were super easy to communicate with and helpful. The place was also fantastic for the toddler we had in tow- with lots of toys and play spaces. Overall just what we needed for a winter weekend away. Place could have used a few more basics for cooking (olive oil, salt, pepper) given it was very much a cold weekend in.

Super responsive hosts and a charming house with lots of privacy! Very historic home, but full of charm and STUNNING backyard space with screened in patio, hot tub, and firepits. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Taby's place is in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It is a great location to explore the Shenandoah Valley. Taby greeted us upon arrival, provided great recommendations about the local attractions, and was very responsive when we had questions. The place was a nice, ground-level studio with a comfortable bed, nice kitchen space and comfortable sitting area. We recommend Taby's place!

Took my nephews up for snow tubing and the house was beautiful and the game room in basement was perfect for the boys during the snow storm we had. The host had prepared us with snow shovel and ice melt. We had an amazing time with beautiful scenery and will definitely be back!

The place is very clean and very well equipped. Also, the host was very responsive for all the questions I asked.
