Relax and unwind in our peaceful getaway nestled in the timber pines of northern Dunsmuir. Enjoy your stay in this cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, very close to the Mt. Shasta Ski Resort, and several well know waterfalls. This home has recently been fully remodeled, with a new Hot Springs hot tub. This home offers a Cal King bed in the upstairs bedroom, queen size beds in each of the 2 downstairs bedrooms, and an extra fold out queen size bed if needed. Great location in the best part of town!

Nestled among 200 trees including oak, pine, and cedar. Inside is an open layout with 3 queen bedrooms upstairs, wood burning stove and a kids suite downstairs w/bunk beds, games & TV. Outside there is a hammock, meditation chair, swing, tree house, and trampoline. Perfect peaceful setting for spiritual seekers with many areas to meditate on the property. There is a view of Mount Shasta from the back deck and up the hill. The hill is also great for sledding in the winter.

Eagles Rest Lodge was just a great escape to the woods. Beautiful surroundings in mixed conifer forest with views over a riparian corridor. Spent hours looking out the windows and off the deck and strolling along the trails on the property. Our kids loved roaming around the house and we got 6” of snow one night. The beds were comfortable and kitchens were well stocked with cooking gear. Very quiet and peaceful. If renting entire place be aware that you must walk through one bedroom (with king bed) to get to/from the larger living area in the Tree House. The house worked out great for our two families. Jill was very communicative and wanted to make sure our stay was great. We would definitely come back here to stay.

We really enjoyed our time at Dan and Julie’s place in Sleepy Hollow. We had the vacation we were hoping for including a relaxing, comfortable place to stay with our dog, and ease of location to our favorite ski mountain. The house feels like you are visiting family, and the host were very friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay there again during the winter.

My family and I loved our stay at Karen’s cabin. Beautiful sights of Mount Shasta and Black Butte, peaceful, quiet and just a few minutes drive to everything in Shasta. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you would need. We came in the winter, there was snow outside but inside the cabin it was warm and cozy. Perfect!

My husband is working in Mccloud and the kids and I came out to camp. I couldn’t have found a better place to stay! The creek was beautiful, walking distance to restaurants. The camp hosts are very helpful about nearby places to visit and everyone is so friendly. All in all it was a beautiful experience.

This place was perfect. It was very clean, and very comfortable. We cooked dinner in each night and enjoyed the views of the mountain and walks around the neighborhood. It was very close to town but still felt secluded (in the best way.) It was a great home base for skiing at Mt Shasta and enjoying town. I normally don’t sleep well when I stay at places other than my own home but I actually slept great here. Just good cozy vibes all around.

D was such a wonderful host! Very communicative and attentive from start to finish, and so accommodating to us. The canopy is BEAUTIFUL and had everything we could have needed.
