Hike, explore and relax in National Park forest

Stayed for a couple of days in a quiet apartment located in a small village halfway between the Sanctuary of La Verna and Bagno di Romagna. Well-kept, cozy—just how I’d love my home to be! :D The wood-burning stove is a big plus for me. I hope to come back soon!

Experience rustic off-grid life in the wilderness

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
House from other times and, just like the structure, even everyday life is from other times. It takes comfort in the ignition of a fire and in keeping it access, without a flame that burns the cold and thick walls of the house do not heat up. Same thing for hot water. Once at George's place, forget the rest of the world, silence reigns at all times of the day and night. If you are able to handle the above, the house is perfect for those looking for open spaces, walks, quiet, and regain the pleasure of chatting or reading. There's no TV to host evenings. The wifi does, and it works well. Remember to shop, because returning to the country will cost 30 minutes by car. We and our 1 1/2-year-old really liked it. We'll be back thissummer because it's definitely worth the trip! Very Good 😉

"L'ippocastano" apartment

FranziskaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My stay at Eleonora’s was wonderful! The apartment was full of charm and had an authentic Tuscan vibe. The garden was a highlight—spacious and green, perfect for my dog to roam freely. The location was great, very peaceful with scenic walking routes right behind the house. It’s also perfectly situated for exploring the region—close to charming local towns with markets and within easy reach of bigger cities like Florence for day trips. Eleonora and Giulia were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Communication was always clear and helpful. One thing to keep in mind is that heating and electricity is an additional cost and can be quite expensive (which Eleonora was very transparent about). Given the overall value of the stay, I found this to be reasonable, but it’s something to consider, especially in colder months when keeping the pellet stove running is essential. Overall, a fantastic stay—I’d love to return!

Casa Ciappi

The space was very clean and tidy situated up in the hills near Caprese Michelangelo. The location is quiet with the nearest village about 15 minutes away which can be reached via a rather winding road. Access to shops is okay with a smaller supermarket about 15/20 mins away and then some larger ones about 40 minutes away. This location is ideal if you are looking to sit and relax whilst enjoying the scenic views. Michela and her parents were lovely and welcoming hosts.
