Family-friendly vacation rentals in Morpeth

The property is beautiful but Billy and Gill made our stay extra special. They couldn’t do enough to help us feel at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, warm, safe, cosy and exactly as described. There is a large lounge to relax in with a great range of DVDS, games and books. We also had access to the games room which our boys were intrigued by and found a lovely Pinocchio book, Disney jigsaw puzzle and had a little go on the snooker table. But the stand out was the garden with treehouse, trampoline and ride on toys - our boys were obsessed - it was all perfect for our needs. Nice little extra touches were the welcome treats on arrival for both us and our kids and a bottle milk in the fridge. Billy and Gill always had time to talk and make sure everything was okay for us. I had a treatment with Gill which was amazing and would definitely recommend. Already planning our next trip at Stonelea House - thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

We had the best weekend staying here - the place was lovely, had absolutely everything you need, with Christmas decorations giving it a lovely touch! Karen was very helpful and communicative making the experience even better and easier Perfect location for a cosy quiet weekend away - will be back x

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

Great location: in the quieter residential part of Amble, but only a few minutes walk to pubs, shops and places to eat. The house had everything we needed and the hosts have done a great job of creating a home-from-home vibe. Plenty of space and the hot tub was ideal after long days of walking and exploring the area. And the welcome items from Chris and Georgie were very welcome!

Lovely cabin, lovely setting within a beautiful park, lovely little walk aroun the lake. Very dog friendly park which was lovey. Very nice hottub. Had everything you might need! Lots of things to do nearby if you have a car, and right next to the zoo.

We had the most amazing stay at the hide, everything was thought about even to the last details. Hosts were lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal! Our favourite thing to do was to sit and relax in front of the beautiful scenery whilst our pooch explored the surroundings with a cup of tea in hand! Plenty to do not only within the surrounding areas but at the hide itself leaving you occupied at all times! We cannot wait to return next year and thank you again!

We had a very comfortable stay here. The apartment has everything you could need and was a great place to relax after a busy day. It is also in a perfect location for visiting the town and is only a short distance from the park, Abbey and town centre. Ian responded very quickly when we messaged him to clarify a potential Road closure while we were there. The only thing that was a bit unusual was that the double bedroom is accessed through the en-suite bathroom. Many thanks.

The cottage is just beautiful, everything had been well thought through with style and good taste. The kitchen was excellent with everything we could possibly need, the house was warm and cosy and the bed super comfy. Overall the location was an absolute dream - would recommend the Allenheads Inn if you’re walking that way. Normally we use airbnbs as a base to be out every day but with this cottage, we ended up wanting to spend time in, just enjoying the cottage. We’ll definitely be back!

we happened to visit in a storm and Richard couldn't have been more helpful when it knocked the electric off. the place is beautiful, the house has just a great energy and it was a space throughly enjoyed.

Ideal location, this annex was spacious, very clean, with a great shower & bathroom and a very comfy bed! This was our second visit, and although the weather was awful , there were plenty of places to visit nearby. Being near the A1 meant it was easy to get around, yet we were never aware of traffic noise even though we like to sleep with our bedroom window open! The White Swan at the end of the road does fantastic food, so we were able to eat there a few times. We had a problem with getting the heating on, and Ian was immediately on hand to sort it.We wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Old School annex for a stay in this wonderful area.

Loved the cottage which was charming and tastefully decorated. We did get a fright when the horse came to visit at the kitchen window on a dark night.We don't have a bath at home so that was a real bonus for my wife. A couple of visits were made to the pubs and the locals were a very friendly bunch indeed ............. great break for Christmas.

Thanks so much for having us. Comfiest fold out bed I’ve ever slept on and great space. Beautiful village. Even got invited to the local quiz which we would have loved to join but unfortunately had to work! Hopefully will come back again for a holiday soon.

A lovely place in very quiet surroundings easy to find. Very well furnished and comfortable, a real home away from home feeling!

We had such a relaxing time at honeymug, such a cosy place and the kids loved playing with the great variety of toys and enjoyed a variety of mini cereals and croissants left out by John, that was very kind, thanks! So many local walks, cafes, castles, coast and to top it off a hot tub and swimming pool. Very recommended, we'll hopefully be back.

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

We had a great few days in this little house, and were able to explore a number of different beautiful locations from this spot. Recommended for hikers and walkers, although you will need a car as the location is pretty remote.

Tumbler Rocks was just as described. Just a short stroll across the dunes to the beach and an easy walk into Seahouses town. The house was very well equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed as a family of eight with two dogs and found it had ample space for all of us. Dogs enjoyed their early morning walks along the sandy beach and with the outside hose, paws were easily washed down! Plenty of eating places in the town and as a Coeliac found an excellent chip shop, Italian restaurant and Indian restaurant who could all provide gluten free choices for both sitting in and take away. Anthea was very approachable and helpful in answering any questions we had prior to and during our visit. Thank you for the use of your house for our family break.
