Comfortable, clean, and spacious historic home. Kitchen well equipped to prepare meals for large family. Heat worked well. Sunroom was enjoyable In mornings. Quiet setting for restful sleep.

Had a great stay in a unique and enormous home on a large property. Host was very helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The home and the property have a lot of character. There are ample bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms for a large family. There is also tons of fridge and kitchen space since there is a full second kitchen and a very large main fridge.

This place was perfect for our trip to ski at Bear Creek. It was only 10 minutes away and had everything we needed for 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids loved the upstairs bedroom and tv room that they could have to themselves. There was plenty of space inside for everyone to spread out and have space for themselves. The dining room and kitchen had ample seating for us all to sit and eat at the same time. John and Deb were also super helpful when it snowed our second night at the property. They came by in the morning and plowed the driveway and shoveled the walkway before we were even up for breakfast so we could easily get out and get on with on with our day. Truly one of the best places we've stayed.

Johanne’s hospitality and her estate was absolutely stunning!!! Myself and my guest enjoyed everything about the place. Spacious rooms, the back porch was immaculate, the swimming pool was everything, and the rooms were like apartments in each space. I would definitely recommend renting Miss Johanne’s property for your Philly stay.

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

The game room was absolutely amazing and the hot tub, also a highlight . We loved the bar and the frosted glassware. The hosts were present/available without being at all intrusive. There were ample bathrooms and shower facilities with towels a’plenty. The beds were comfortable and the fire place,an unexpected bonus. The kitchen facilities were roomy and fully stocked. It was clean, comfortable and tons of fun- worth every penny 😊

Tiona was very accommodating. The home was in good condition, and clean. The kitchen was clean, and had everything we needed.

Allison and Timothy were great hosts. They even worked with me when I arrived overnight in the early morning!!! I would recommend them to anyone who wants great hosts and a safe place!!!

We came for the proximity to my father-in-law who lives in Germantown and the Harry Potter-theming, but the real gem of the stay is the generous and communicative host – Lisa is truly a one-of-a-kind, exceptional host. Responsive, kind and generous. Some of our Harry Potter highlights: • Finding the snitches: what a fun way to way to discover the house! My six-year-old son loved looking for the snitches. • Harry Potter trivia game: my husband and son loved playing this game at the end of every evening. • Herbology bathroom: I found the details of the room delightful. We felt VERY taken care of by Lisa. She had coffee and snacks for us, which was very appreciated since we arrived on Christmas Day and stores were closed. She was generous and thoughtful with us in so many different ways and also made sure we had everything we needed. It was a lovely stay and my son just asked, can we stay there again the next time we visit grandfather? Thank you, Lisa.

I think this was a fair listing and fair price. Nothing majorly problematic stood out to me which was awesome, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Only a few minor negatives (listed below). *Room scent machines & plugins were excessive and too frequent *No coat rack near the door *No shampoo/conditioner provided (that I could find) *No cutting boards (that I could find) *Parking instructions were on the counter but wish they were in the listing / somewhere in the app *Carpet is well-worn in the bedrooms *No hand railing for the top 7 stairs or so, leading up to the top floor *No outdoor seating (shown in photos) *Only 1 bathroom on the top floor, second bathroom was in the basement (nothing can be done, it was just inconvenient) *No real comforters for the beds, only fleece throw blankets

Bo was so professional and understanding throughout the entire process, the home was welcoming and perfect for what we needed. Absolutely recommend and would book again without hesitation.

We enjoyed a post Christmas celebration with our adult children and grandchildren at Rocking Horse Acres. The house is beautifully appointed with farm theme decor and country touches. The rooms are bright but cozy. She even had a Christmas tree!! The kitchen has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable with beautiful linens. Amy had fresh flowers in every room and a lovely cookie platter as a welcome for us! So sweet! The kids enjoyed the fuzzy cows and hearing the roosters. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative for most of our stay so we were unable to enjoy the outdoor activities. But now we have another reason to return and use that fire pit!

I had an absolute perfect time at Kelly's AirBnB. Everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. You can see the attention to detail and care that Kelly and her family have for their guests. As my first AirBnB this was a very enjoyable experience!

What a GORGEOUS home!!! it was so perfect for our big group. Everyone felt comfortable! We will definitely be renting again!!

Wonderful stay- would love to come back and spend more time at Johanna’s. The space is thoughtful and cozy and the neighborhood is walkable with lots to explore.

This is a great house with everything you need. The rooms are spacy and nicely furnished. Everything was as described, clean and inviting. Mamle is a lovely host, and very easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were very easy with a lock-box. The location is excellent on a quiet street, but still only a short walk from the local center with a big grocery store, some other shops, restaurants, a post office, bank, etc. We also had some lovely evening walks to the nearby Shortridge Memorial Park. Wynnewood railway station is very near, and the train ride to downtown Philly takes about a half-hour. This is certainly a place we would love to come back to.

Nate's cottage was the perfect location for our Christmas visits to New Hope, local wineries, Peddlers Village, Fonthill Castle and the Tike Works . All beautiful and a short drive away.

The house is gorgeous! The working fireplaces were a highlight, it was perfect for a winter getaway (and now I want to come back in the summer too, to see the property again!)

We had a great overnight at John's sweet apartment. The space is both homey and spacious, featuring two big sunny bedrooms with really comfortable beds. His love of Ireland is evident and was a lovely touch and a contrast to the antiseptic feel to many Airbnbs these days. John was a great, responsive host. He put up with my neurotic worry that i would be able to watch the football playoffs on the tube. Great stay - would definitely return!

Logan's place was a paradise in Pennsylvania. The place was comfortable, with all amenities we could ask for, with stunning surroundings. Logan made it very welcoming for us. We had some treats waiting for us, and the instructions for the house were extremely helpful. We also had some great surprises, like access to kayaks and bikes, and a gym that had everything we could ask for. Logan was responsive with any questions, and she made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. I highly recommend Logan's place for a cozy and quiet getaway from it all.

Jen was an amazing host, very responsive! The house was beautiful as well! We loved the botanical garden aspect and we found it to be the perfect home for a retreat. The only slight issue we encountered was that because we cooked all of our meals at the house, there were a few cookware items we wished there was more of, but that was a very minor inconvenience. Everything else we felt was flawless. On our last day we even got snowed in and Jen was extremely responsive and cleared out the driveway for us to get out! We would love to return again!
