Guesthouse vacation rentals in Montgomery County

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The airbnb is lovely, especially the outside patio in their spacious garden. The place is walking distance to the Whissahikon forest which has great trails. Meghan was a friendly and quick communicator. I would say that it's one of the most expensive places I've ever stayed in, out of dozens of airbnbs over the years - the only time I've spent over $200/night before was in downtown San Francisco, and I'm usually very happy with where I stay. I don't think it was overpriced compared to other similar options in the same area, however the entire area seems quite highly priced to me for what it is (a suburb near a forest). Also, note that (as stated on the listing), the kitchen is very minimally stocked. If the price is right for you, though, and you don't plan to cook much, I highly recommend this place for a lovely peaceful getaway!

There were lots of nice little touches. It was nice to have a place to sit outside. It was also great to be able to park in the driveway. Great neighborhood with lots of places to walk the dogs.

My second time staying here, hopefully not my last before my contract ends!!! Immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful. If you want to escape the stress of work but remain close to shopping etc this is a perfect place. Open a window and enjoy the sound of the water!!

Excellent location. We went to a wedding at the Barley Sheaf Inn and it was two minutes away. New Hope center is 10 minutes by car. Good air conditioning, comfortable beds, nice deck out back. Message Elisa about the turn into the air bnb because it’s a little tricky !

We loved our stay at Sarah's! Lovely secluded spot with great views, beautiful building and grounds, and the perfect distance from the Expo Center. The rooms were clean, well-furnished, and had lots of little thoughtful amenities that we really appreciated. Bonus points for Sarge the beagle (a perfect ambassador!), the hens, and the sheep! Our only complaint was that we should have booked a longer stay. Thanks, Sarah, for your hospitality!

If you are looking for a comfortable, private space close to nature, look no further! This place is half a block to Forbidden Drive and all that the Wissahickon Valley Park has to offer. It is also a (mostly) flat walkable mile to Morris Arboretum. And it had two Adirondack chairs in the yard to sit and enjoy if you want to be outside, but don't feel like walking. Inside, the unit itself is comfortable, particularly the bed and the linens. Great hot water and water pressure in the shower after a long day in the woods. Lovely views and natural light from the windows, and the best spice collection I have ever seen in an AirBnB kitchen. The host was friendly and responsive, adding to the comfort of my stay.

What a great find! Val knows how to create a space that makes you feel right at home. The amenities are better than most Airbnb's. The furniture is pristine, beautiful appliances, and the shower was amazing! Very comfy queen size bed. We had everything we needed here and more. Thank you Val for offering such a nice place to stay! 5 stars all the way!!
