Monthly Rentals in Montezuma Beach, Santa Fe

We've stay in a fair number of houses on the Nicoya peninsula and in Montezuma in particular. The architecture and design of this house stands out among the places we have stayed. The pool was great and the seating on the deck is covered so you can enjoy the outdoors even if it is raining. We were greeted daily by the neighborhood Agouti and a troop of howler monkeys spent time in the trees by the road. There were abundant butterflies and birds. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in casa tranquila, saw quite a lot of animals in the garden and monkeys in the trees. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The caretakers Migdalia and Andres are very nice and helpful people and Tania is a very good host, answering fast. Important, one should have a car to get to the house which we had. Thank you Tania!

Caroline is a jewel…a lovely French Canadienne who married into a typical Tico way of life that I’d recommend everyone experience— complete with ants & such, monkeys on the roof at all hours, close quarters with neighbors’ conversations & music, early morning motorcycles in the distance, & truly amazing giant lizards. This is a very basic set-up, so if you are not a light sleeper, don’t mind not having A/C or hot water, I’d highly recommend. I loved the location & the patio table (which was shaded, thankfully!) & the location is directly across from the beach, the Sat 9-1pm mercado, & super close to the waterfall & town. Merci beacoup, Caroline! (There are no addresses in CR, so ask to be dropped off in front of the soccer field, walk up the left side of it (if you are facing it), turn right (you’ll now be walking behind the field), & go all the way to the last house on the left. The map pin provided suggests going up the right side of the field, but this doesn’t get you there!)

We had a great 4 days at Galit and Dan's place. The house and the whole complex were fantastic, the pool was a dream. Everything clean, very nicely decorated, very comfortable bed. Screens everywhere on windows and doors, which is great for mosquitoes. We were visited by nasal bears and a monkey and by the pool we could watch hummingbirds. Sxhöne ruihe location, 10 minutes by car to Montezuma. Galit and Dan are great hosts and their friend Eli is also very friendly. Highly recommended place to stay!
