Vacation home rentals in Monte Mario

The flat is as advertised: cozy, clean, well furnished, 1st floor on a quiet street, steps from the Coliseum, restaurants, shops. The host, Marco, was very helpful and responsive with providing information and answering questions from the date of booking through the end of the stay. Certainly helped make our family 1st visit to Rome and awesome one.

Eduardo’s apartment is in the perfect place to explore Rome! Despite being in pedestrian area, the double-paned windows and thick walls made it peaceful and quiet inside. It was truly an oasis. The rooms were spotless and the the beds were comfortable! Very easy to walk to nearly every ancient site in Rome. And when you need a taxi, you can have one pick you up in a piazza just a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Great value for the money, and all of the appliances worked seamlessly. When I return to Rome, I will definitely look to stay here again. Truly a spectacular space in the old city.

Fabio's accommodation was exactly as described. Quiet in a backyard, clean, inviting, in a perfect location. We felt very comfortable as a small family with a 2 year old child. Especially the bed was wonderfully comfortable and the sofa bed the most comfortable in my life :-D The contact with Fabio was excellent! A perfect place. The accommodation is very pleasant and convenient, from the small entrance with large closets to the small functional kitchen. Daniele was very welcoming, kind, caring and full of good tips on good places, exhibitions, airport shuttle. The neighborhood is pleasant, with all the useful shops, restaurants and bars-pasticcerias, a cinema, nearby parks for running (including the large Parc Villa Pamphilj), and the metro almost at the foot of the building. The Vatican is within easy walking distance (about 2km). I'll be back!

I always stayed at hotels when I traveled abroad. This was my first experience with Airbnb abroad. As a result, it was a great success. It was all thanks to the consideration of the host. She provided a lot of information so that I would not feel uncomfortable. The house was also very comfortable. I was also grateful for the kind attitude of the host (Minuela). What a great Host, just true Roman service and first class. The place has everything you need and was set up so perfect for guests. 100% perfect. Max also arranged pick up and drop off from airport and made everything so simple. The place is in the best location and walkable to everything. Again they had everything down to the minute details in the house. Also recommendations for things and you get Max personal number if ANY problems. This place and the Hosts are highly recommended!!!!!!

Location is good. Close to Vatican. It’s great that we can check in earlier but bags cannot be stored at the place after check out. Overall is great!

Place is humble but I guess it's good for the price. It's more spacious then in the pictures. It's a bit damp, especially bathroom as there is no sufficient ventilation and has that musty smell but you get used to it. Reminds me of a fishermen home on a Croatian island. We stayed in January so it might be different in summer. It has a large yard that you can use when the weather is nice. Pigneto has a lot of cafes and trattorias and a good pizza place is just outside so you can always get a drink or meal nearby. Prices are lower then the center so you'll save money, while the food is just as good if not better. You'll not fall in a tourist trap here. If you like places like Neukölln in Berlin than you'll like this. There is an alternative music club nearby so you can go out for live music or dj-ing. Connection with the center is ok but you have to switch metro lines. They are extending the line C, if you read this in the future you have a direct line to main Roman attractions.

Wonderful location! Able to walk to every site from Vatican to the Coliseum. Took an uber once to the Coliseum just to save my legs and walked back after. No problems with the place. The bed was comfy and useful items. I didn’t realize there was silverware in a little pull out drawer for the first day (oops on my part). If you’re 6’ the hot tub is slightly smaller than expected but still great. Very helpful and responsive host.

Tomasso's property is conveniently located. A few minutes walk to the subway, with a train that takes you to a majority of the tourist attractions. The host was also very hospitable and forthcoming with recommendations.

Eduardo and Lorenza were great hosts. They responded instantly to each of our questions and supported us. Everything in the house was thought out to the finest detail; there was even a 4G service that you could move on mobile. Flexibility was provided at check-in and check-out times. Maddalena's place was excellent for a month-long stay in Rome. It was everything it appeared to be in the photos, and the rooftop terrace made it one of the most beautiful Airbnb's that I've stayed in. Adding a huge Thank You to Roberta, who helped me check in, and was extremely kind in driving me to the airport on the morning I checked out! Thank you so, so much!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was at a walking distance to quite a few restaurants. The host was accommodative to all our issues. We had a heating problem & they took care of it pretty quickly. Would recommend this place for a quiet neighborhood & walkable distance to major attractions of city.

A very well placed apartment to discover Rome on foot. The apartment was well soundproofed although located above restaurants. Our hosts were very responsive and perfectly accommodated us from check-in to luggage storage on the day of our departure.

We had a great stay in Rome in Alice’s apartment! It was clean, homely and comfortable and Alice was very responsive and helpful! She was very kind and allowed us to leave our bags after check out to explore which was super helpful! Thank you Alice! Would definitely recommend! The only thing that might not be super clear on the listing is that you have to walk through the main bedroom to reach the other room with the sofa bed up a flight of steps and there is no door on the top room, but this was not a problem for us!

Very nice apartment! Worth every penny. Has an amazing location close to the fountain and many good restaurants. Would definitely book it again if I come back to Rome.

Cinzia’s place was exactly what we needed to enjoy the Eternal City. We found it the night before after being in a time share that was not what we expected. Cinzia immediately went to work to prepare her haven for us and we were extremely fortunate to have found a home away from home in Rome. We appreciated how easy it was to come in and out of the location. But still felt extremely safe. All the spots we wanted to tour were only 10-25 minutes away driving, and it made it easy to navigate around the city. While parking was our only complaint (if we had one) it became easily manageable when we learned to work with it. But really if you decide to drive, plan to always account for the time spent to find parking. This was not unique to the Airbnb but just the reality of driving in Rome. Wen we arrived Cinzia had snacks ready for all of us and our allergies and it was honestly the nicest thing anyone had ever done for us before 1000/10 we will do it again if we can.

A wonderful location for a family or a larger group. Short walk to/from the tram stop. Many restaurants within short walking distance -shout out to Ristorante Casa del Gusto. One market/grocery is literally next door, and another one also in short walk... The bedding was one of most comfortable and the cleanest in any Airbnb or hotel. All bedrooms except one face Via Flaminia (which may be a bit noisy for anyone not used to city life). Limited seating -kitchen table- if all rooms are used as bedrooms. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

Really nice house, great location. Stayed there for 4 days and didn’t want to leave. Host communicates really well and replies very fast. Will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay in Rome. The location is convenient with shops close by. it's about 20 minutes walk to Rome center/ attractions. The host is very responsive and friendly. Will recommend this place.
