Vacation rentals in Monroeville

My stay at "The Secret Place" was more than excellent! Mrs. Mary accounted for everything I needed and even the things I didn't know I needed! I stayed with my Service Dog and she brought a doggie blanket and now has a "Doggie Play Station" with toys for your fur babies to enjoy. I have a big dog and he was in Heaven with the with the vast property available for him to run. The home was expertly clean and comfortable. I travel for work a lot and Mrs. Mary is by far the BEST Airbnb Host I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I stayed through the Thanksgiving Holiday and she even brought me a plate because my work hours are long and it was just me and my doggo. I didn't want to leave and will definitely be back when I'm working in the area, even if that means an hour drive to work. I felt at home, blessed and with family while staying at "The Secret Place" and will absolutely shout to the mountain tops "You need to stay here!"

The fish camp on Maiben Lake road was a great place to stay for the holidays. Candy was very responsive as a host - answering questions within minutes. During our stay, there was severe weather and Candy reached out to check that we were ok. Cabin was clean, well laid out and peaceful. Would stay there again if there was the need. Highly suggest if you want a place to get away from it all.

This beautiful property is a good bit out from the interstate…and worth every bit of the drive! These are by far some of the kindest folks you will ever meet! I had no idea when I booked this last minute overnight getaway that I would be driving into such a great experience. So many animals to see, gorgeous starry sky night, peaceful quiet country, and the most amazing family! Every bit of the description was accurate! These hosts went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and offered a protective spot to camp for the potential rain coming in. We chose to spend a lot of time connecting with Angel and family (because they are awesome!), but felt like if we chose to stay secluded to ourselves we could have. Our booking of this Airbnb became one of my favorite spontaneous trips of all time! If you are reading this review, and you have the opportunity to go meet this family and all the wonderful animals, do so! You will have an absolutely wonderful experience!

The house was absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for our family. It made our visit to Monroeville truly enjoyable. We can’t wait to book this home again on our next trip. The house didn't have anything beyond the bare minimum of necessary items like linens, towels, a coffee maker, and cups. The host let us know there was not a stove before allowing us to book, which we appreciated. The yard was big enough for my son and our dog to run around in and enjoy being outside. If you're not looking for anything beyond a place to eat, shower, and sleep, then this rental will be fine. The TV is big and the wifi worked really well, so that was nice. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this 4-bedroom, 2-bath home in Monroeville, AL. The house easily accommodated our group of 5 adults with plenty of space and comfort. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully updated with modern decor and furnishings that made it feel welcoming and homey. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, thanks to clear and straightforward instructions provided by the host. We were especially impressed with how well-stocked the house was—everything from laundry detergent to dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, and plenty of toilet paper was provided. These thoughtful touches made our stay so convenient. The location was perfect for attending a wedding in town, and the neighborhood was peaceful and safe. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Monroeville and would absolutely stay here again in the future!
