Unplugged Country Cottage! Direct River View

Beautiful view and the most comfortable beds we have ever encountered while traveling. Great to be “unplugged” for a few days. Came to see the local production of To Kill a Mockingbird put on each spring in Monroeville. Wonderful! Highly recommend it. Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin.

Kelly was very friendly and always available if we needed anything. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is lovely and with the extra outdoor living space, it could easily fit 6 to 8 people. All the kitchen cabinets were labeled, so it was easy to find anything needed. She had all the little extras like storage bags, seasonings, and water. The bathrooms were fully stocked with anything we might have needed. The beds were very comfortable and it had lots of storage space in the bedrooms. I would highly recommend this place.

The house didn't have anything beyond the bare minimum of necessary items like linens, towels, a coffee maker, and cups. The host let us know there was not a stove before allowing us to book, which we appreciated. The yard was big enough for my son and our dog to run around in and enjoy being outside. If you're not looking for anything beyond a place to eat, shower, and sleep, then this rental will be fine. The TV is big and the wifi worked really well, so that was nice. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

The Magnolia House is a beautifully cared-for home that features high quality furnishings, linens and decor, all the amenities you would want or need, and plenty of room for groups to gather and enjoy the area. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into making this a showcase home in Monroeville and I am sure that guests will not be disappointed in their stay. Someone had recommended to ‘stay in the square.’ Great advice. Towne Place Square Lofts is a 2 min walk to the old courthouse. We had the street address , but it’s not marked in the front of the building. There are a couple of buildings marked ‘Lofts’ around the square. We tried the code we were given in a few doors and then got lucky. Once the outside door was confirmed, the rest of the access was straightforward. Maybe a pic of the outside of the building would help… or did I miss a posted address? Inside is modern and clean, just as pictured. Loved having mountains of fresh ice in the freezer. Nice firm bed and the large walk in shower had great pressure. Lots of thick, white towels and super clean. The kitchen has micro, cooktop and full oven so if you shopped and wanted to eat in, you have lots of options. Our thermostat read ‘replace battery’ but fortunately it wasn’t too hot the day we were there so we weren’t looking to adjust. Enjoyed our stay!

This beautiful property is a good bit out from the interstate…and worth every bit of the drive! These are by far some of the kindest folks you will ever meet! I had no idea when I booked this last minute overnight getaway that I would be driving into such a great experience. So many animals to see, gorgeous starry sky night, peaceful quiet country, and the most amazing family! Every bit of the description was accurate! These hosts went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and offered a protective spot to camp for the potential rain coming in. We chose to spend a lot of time connecting with Angel and family (because they are awesome!), but felt like if we chose to stay secluded to ourselves we could have. Our booking of this Airbnb became one of my favorite spontaneous trips of all time! If you are reading this review, and you have the opportunity to go meet this family and all the wonderful animals, do so! You will have an absolutely wonderful experience!

Perfect place to stay in downtown Monroeville. Great view of the old courthouse from the window. Easy to get to. Plenty of free parking. Property manager is very responsive and helpful. Will be back!

I was very happy with my stay here! Very clean and peaceful and was perfect for what me and my little family needed. We will definitely be staying again next time we come down to visit extended family in the area! The bed was super comfortable and the little coffee amenities were better than the hotels I’ve stayed at. I loved the location as it was close enough to town and things but also far enough out to let me be in the peace and guilt of the country. Was perfect for me. Thanks again!!

Staying at the tiny home was amazing!! Mrs Mary is an amazing host and an exceptional human being, very attentive, kind, and leaves everything you need out for you. The tiny home was in pristine condition and the property was beautiful!!!! Lots of open space quiet and private!!!!
