Very unique, serene and beautiful place! The views from the spacious windows on the backside of this home are wonderful, with the feel of being part of nature all while being very comfy indoors. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander's! Sparkling clean, well -appointed kitchen, and gorgeous view of downtown Des Moines. Alexander was quick to respond to questions and was flexible with our check-in time which we really appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Went for a wedding, was a great place. Easy to find had everything we needed including a few things we forgot! Would stay again.

Cozy and peaceful cottage. Home had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving as a family. Large kitchen with good sized fridge, stove top/oven cooking equipment/utensils. There was plenty of dining space for meals and playing games. Also was nice to have a washer and dryer so we didn’t have to go home with dirty laundry. Would stay again.

Menika’s place was very nice. It was modern with lots of space - especially to hang out as a 4 person group so that was very nice. Menika was very responsive when we had trouble accessing some to channels and working the fireplace (we couldn’t figure it out). She was very nice about it all. The location is very quiet and ample space for parking. Really liked the shower and spacious bathroom of the main bedroom!

Walnut Creek Lodge is spectacular and Brett is a wonderful host. This is our group's second year at the Lodge and we will be back next fall! My group loves Walnut Creek, this property is a true American gem in the middle of Iowa!

The house was the perfect place for our weekend wedding dress shopping getaway! The kitchen was well stocked making it simple to cook for our small group and the coffee syrups were a great welcoming touch! Beautiful natural tone modern decor throughout the house with cozy touches in every room that made it a very relaxing place to stay!

They let us stay last minute. The place is great. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Amazing shower pressure and temperature. Was very grateful.

Jackie’s place is great. The updating and decor are well done. The entire place was spotless. Jackie was very prompt with communication. My family met there for our Christmas celebration and it certainly felt like home.
