Absolutely heavenly. The space, grounds, and environment are truly beautiful - perhaps one of the best stays in all of Sicily. This is a luxury bed and breakfast - the staff are immensely friendly and helpful, and were so kind to our two young children. Still in awe of the pool and spaces to relax and escape the hustle of cities /exploring. The dinners, too, were spectacular. Just book this, you won’t be disappointed.

what more can I say about Dario and his beautiful property? He is the best host, hands down Ive had on my travels. always communicative! helpful and made us recommendations and reservations if our phone wasnt working, arranged a driver for us to see the outlying area, and became a friend who I hope to keep in touch with. When we left he sent us on our way with his family farms olive oil. the space is large and clean and relaxing. There is a breakfast offered each morning if you let him know the night before. Stephania who cooks and cleans the property makes the best coffee and espresso! my favorite of his recommendations were Carnezzeria, Locanda Colibri, and the shop Olive. The walk to the island wouldnt have been bad had it not been so hot while we stayed but the taxi was easy to call and about 15 euros. Dario made Siracusa feel like a wonderful home away from home!

Lovely home in the heart of Avola. Clean, comfortable and close to everything. Rooms are spacious and decorated with real family heirlooms. I was greeted upon arrival by a local for a welcoming and hassle-free check-in, and was phoned by the owner (who lives in Rome) to see how I was going and if I needed anything... which of course I didn't.
