Sandra is a top host. Everything worked out very well. The tiny house is in the "garden" and you can see it right into a street. Or stands in front of it. But it is very quiet. We did not quite understand the "overnight fee" of €2.50 per person per night and find it a pity that "extra costs" are included. That will not be communicated immediately.

We spent five wonderful days in the Troadkasten and could not have asked for a better place for our little break. Since we were sick, we were looking for a quiet retreat to relax away from the city – and that's exactly what we found here. Gisella and her family are incredibly warm and made us feel at home from the first moment. On the first day, we were supplied with fresh milk and eggs from our own farm. A very special highlight for our two-year-old daughter was the close contact with the animals. She loved spending time with the cows, calves and other farmyard animals more than anything. We were even allowed to be there while milking. The surroundings are fantastic, with breathtaking views that helped us to really unwind and recharge. My husband was thrilled with the wood-burning stove, which not only made the house cozy, but also provided a pleasant atmosphere.

Communication was friendly and straightforward. From the hut, you can easily go to the mountains or to the village of Gasen. There are a few other houses in the area, behind which are woods and mountains.
