The cabin was perfect in every way. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the little details to make us feel right at home. The location, surrounded by nature, was ideal for relaxing and disconnecting. Mrs. Alicia was an exceptional host—attentive, kind, and quick to respond to any questions we had. .we highly recommend this place. We can’t wait to come back!

This house was stunning. Really enjoyed the gas fireplace and open kitchen/living area. The hot tub was a great bonus as well! In the listing there were detailed instructions on how to find the house, but the GPS on my phone took me straight there - no issues! Very easy check-in and check-out. There were quite a few stairs which was no issue for us, but may be for others. Ashley is great and very responsive!

What a lovely and spacious home tucked away in the mountains! Very beautiful views, especially when dusted in fresh snow. In addition to the home, we enjoyed easy access to Jonas Ridge snowtubing, Linville Falls winery, and downtown Spruce Pine (it's on its way back!). A little further drive to Banner Elk, made for a fun day at the Alpine Coaster and downtown. If the hot tub had been working, it would have been the cherry on top!

Great place to stay. Secluded and comfy. Though the unit is attached to the home. It feels very private. Would stay there again.

Marcia was an incredible host. Always available and exceeded all expectations. Burnsville has been through a lot from Hurricane Helene and we were so happy to be able to give back to such a wonderful community. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and head to the mountains!

This place was amazing! Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice, the view is just incredible. Great place to have a trip just to getaway. Frank was a great host and would gladly book with him again.

I loved my time here! It was a nice and quiet getaway. The WiFi was excellent and I was still able to work during the day but could unplug and just enjoy the surroundings at night. Highly recommend!

Robin's place was exactly what we needed. We had zero issues. She was quick to respond to any messages. We had our dog with us and had no problems at all. Her 2 dogs are very friendly and greeted us at the car which did not bother us at all. Thanks for letting us stay.

Amazing place. Super special experience that makes you feel right at home with Penland down the road and in the middle of the mountain surroundings. The place is super cozy and well appointed. Christina went out of her way to make us feel welcome, even bringing us some items without having to ask for them. Love it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We needed a place to stay while we came to volunteer and this was the perfect place. It was very cozy, clean and everything we needed. Bonnie is a wonderful and gracious host! I highly recommend this place. We will be back again! I can’t say enough about this place!

My boyfriend and I spent a beautiful, relaxing weekend with our pup here. It’s the perfect distance from Asheville and nestled in a sleepy mountain town. The place felt like home away from home, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for home cooked meals! I cannot recommend this place enough. The views were unbelievable and the memories unforgettable. If you’re debating —just pull the trigger and book this place. You won’t regret it!

I had a lovely two week stay at Eliber's listing. Everything was exactly as described. It is very close to downtown Burnsville and easy access to the main road but also quiet enough that deer were in the yard. Eliber was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly.

Kerry's Farm at When Pigs Fly was the perfect place to hide away on our trip to Burnsville. The Cottage House was clean, cool, and comfy, and a perfect match to the description and pictures. Kerry was a delightful hostess and super responsive. When Tropical Storm Debby delayed our ability to travel, she allowed us to push back our reservation rather than losing a night's stay. Our trip aligned with the peak of the Perseids meteor shower, and Kerry's camping chairs were perfect for viewing the show in the dark night sky! We made sure to take our coffee outside to enjoy the sites and sounds of the river. If I'd had more time, I would have spent a day reading a book in the loft. All in all, this was a great space to chill, and Kerry's cool vibe made it so easy to enjoy our visit. Thanks again for everything!

Definitely recommended Phil was great and his wife for the homemade cookies upon arrival beautiful scenery place is really awesome looking forward to going back this time with the kiddos hopefully as the place is very family oriented

Carrie was incredible, as was her husband in providing clear instructions and then helping tremendously when hurricane Helene came through. We were not able to stay at their place due to emergency services only in Burnsville, but they were responsive, they helped check on our aunt in the mountains and they were delightful to work with. We will be staying with them as soon as we can safely get into town, when services are back 100%. A remarkable couple!

Carrie was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She is proactive and a very responsive communicator. The space was spotless and beautiful on the inside, just like the photos. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again.

Beautiful condominium with gorgeous views! The location was in a lovely mountain community but with stores and eating nearby. The condominium was lovely, very clean, had a very nicely equipped kitchen, and again the view from the windows and deck area were beautiful!

We had a lovely stay and Eliber was fantastic to work with. We needed last minute accommodations when the location we were scheduled to stay at was turned into a mud field from the heavy rains. We were in NC volunteering with an organization working Disaster rebuild from Hurricane Helene. When we found the listing, we were exhausted from a 9hr work day, filthy, hungry and cranky. We were seriously contemplating sleeping in our truck in a Walmart parking lot! Within minutes of our request, Eliber responded and starting giving us instructions and details AND went over to make sure the loft apartment was ready for guests. Totally worth the $.

Erika's home is an oasis of nature, luxury and tranquility all rolled into one extraordinarily beautiful setting. The Eyrie is cozy, comfy and immaculate: soft fleecy blankets, warm polished wood, a porch that feels like heaven. This is a thousand star home. Within its quiet walls are wonderful books, vintage mountain musical instruments, and stunning views. You'll never want to leave the Eyrie. And on top of that, if you do venture out for the day, the nearby town of Burnsville is rich with awesome books stores, fabulous restaurants, the best farmers markets, galleries, and antique shops. Erika's communications are always clear, unobtrusive, and gracious. She is the best in every way and so was my second stay in her home. I'm eagerly planning my next visit. The Eyrie is prefect! Hat's off to Erika.
