Yurt vacation rentals in Mississippi River

It is nice and cozy with all the comforts of home. We stayed toasty with the wood burning stove. I loved having a fire right on the lake. We plan to return yurtly.

beautiful setting; a retreat into the woods...quiet, didn't hear or see another person the entire time. Star viewing super. Comfortable beds if not over 6 ft tall or sharing a bed *diagonal option * Recommend bringing a camping chair if you have one. First yurt experience--certainly easier than camping. I will return, especially for nordic skiing. Really cool that price includes access to trails.

Loved staying here! Very peaceful and stunning view. Had everything I needed, including firewood, kindling, and extra lighters. Note that the 0.8 miles to get there is very steep.

This is a very unique and loving space that is worth the unconventional stay and with appropriate camping preparations and supplies. The connectedness to nature is something you rarely experience with your average stay. We loved hearing all the genuine animal calls throughout the night. Be prepared to unplug and reconnect with yourself during your stay here 💗🙏🏽😊

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurts and love them. They’re located just up the highway from town, and close to howl, and the wineries. Will definitely stay again.

The “Round House” was so cutely decorated and cozy! Katie provided everything you could need. (The weather was cold-the mattress warmer was a happy surprise!!). The view was wonderful. All around great stay!!

Loved this stay! Went by myself, was originally a birthday present for someone, but ended up travelling solo for the weekend. It was such a great place to reset and get back in touch with the Lord, and it was just very relaxing and peaceful. Making the campfire and listening to the birds, going for a small hike on the nearby ice age trail, and spending the night warmed by the wood burning stove with beautiful string lights inside the yurt was a very memorable experience. Ashley was so kind and generous, very welcoming and lovely to speak with! If i’m in the area again i will certainly be coming back :)

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Turtle Yurts! It was quiet and comfortable. It was very relaxing to watch the trees and the stars out of the dome.

The Yurt was a perfect New Years getaway for me and my wife! Hot tub was awesome, and the location was great. Would recommend any of Melissa's properties!

It was a quaint, peaceful, and beautiful get away for the weekend. During the winter it does get pretty cold even with the provided heater but just bringing some extra layers still makes it worth it. Dennis and Kathy were very responsive and Dennis helped us get our car out of the drive way when it snowed along with getting us more water quickly. Coqui, their dog, was the cutest and friendly. Places in town were closed due to weather but we went to Walmart for food and it turned out fine. We also ate at this great Mongolian grill restaurant in Wisconsin Dells and went to a place called Aquavia lumina where they had an outside light show that you walk and it was amazing definitely recommend that. Also did the magiquest which was surprisingly very fun and I think next time I would need a whole day for that. The next night we saw so many stars it was beautiful and with the outside string lights my boyfriend, now fiancee, proposed! Thank you Dennis and Kathy!

Our family loved absolutely everything about our time at this accurately described “cozy yurt” - it was just that, sooooo cozy, we didn’t want to leave lol. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little gem with us, what a wonderful spot!

Such an awesome place to stay! I wish we could have stayed longer! Very nice space with everything you need. Secluded area but close to a lot in Springfield. Highly recommend if you like a little bit of glamping!

My wife, our three cats and I had an incredibly wonderful time in the Butterfly Yurt! We were lucky enough to have the whole property to ourselves and it was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway we were hoping for. It was very easy to access the property and was behind a gate which felt safe and secure! The Yurt was the perfect size for us and the cats and was very cozy! The sink and the fridge in the barn were perfect for cooking and cleaning and there was plenty of firewood available for use! We really enjoyed walking around the property on the nature paths and got to see so much wildlife! We will definitely be booking this place again! There is a second yurt on the property, so it would be wonderful to bring some friends. Katherine was wonderful, easy to reach and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful!! It had everything we could have needed. The beds were SO comfy!! I wish we would have been able to stay longer! Will definitely rebook if ever in the area again!

We stayed at John’s place. The AC worked well. We enjoyed the simple tranquility of being out in nature. It was quiet and we used the fire pit, got to see the stars. Looked like the pictures, had the campy outdoor vibe.

This is our 4th time at the Blue Cabin and it is as wonderful each time we visit. Place is beautiful and feels like you are home away from home. Very comfortable. David and Laurie are outstanding hosts. So accommodating and making you so welcomed. Will be back many times to come.

We all enjoyed our stay at the Geneseo Campground and in the yurt. The campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The yurt was a lovely change from tent camping.
