Place was very good! Breakfast was not included, but was very tasty. Beer is cold in the fridge ;)

We had a wonderful stay at Igor’s peaceful little paradise! Igor and Michelle are exceptional hosts who genuinely enjoy connecting with their guests over tea. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and gave us spot-on recommendations for restaurants ,and introduced us to the absolute guru of massages! Maybe, just maybe… I’ll master the courage to join the yoga sessions next time… after a little nudge! 😄

My girlfriend and I made a round trip through Sri Lanka and came across 18 faces when looking for a place to stay in Galle. First, due to the few reviews so far, we were not sure if we should book the accommodation, but then did it. Conclusion: We loved it!! The accommodation is modern, stylish and furnished with love. The rooms were very clean. Since there are few rooms available, the place was very quiet. Breakfast, unlike most places to stay, was extremely good. You had the choice between different dishes and also extra wishes were not turned off. It's just minutes away from it all in the center. Nirosh, the property owner was as well as the rest of the staff very accommodating and friendly. When we needed transportation to our next place on the last day, Nirosh drove us personally. We were very surprised and especially grateful for that. We recommend this place to everyone!

The place was very nice. Placed near to the Midigama Surf Spots and also near to Weligama town. We had a very cheap room with new quiet air condition, a very cozy bed and a clean beautiful bathroom. If you’re a surfer you can easily rent scooters from the host and all good Surf Spots are like a two minutes drive away. Without scooter the next beach is 8 minutes away, very beautiful called jungle beach. There are also some nice and cheap possibilities to eat around the place. What we also really liked was how the host and his family let us take part of their culture with showing us a lot of things like how they’re cooking, how their collecting coconuts from the palm trees and all kind of nice stuff. They even brought us homemade specialities for free every day. So friendly people. There was even a kitchen for the guests where you could cook everything you want and have tea and coffe for free. I’d really recommend this place to everybody.

Located a 2-minute walk from the beach, and 5 minutes from a charming and lively street at night, this family is very welcoming and warm. Will always be there to help, and to make sure everything is okay. We even got a gesture from them at the end of our stay. I highly recommend it!

At first - super fast communication with host. It makes everything much easier! Thanks for that. Everything was good at the end, just a little minus - when we arrived at evening pool was dirty. Also on next morning there was varan (big lizard) swimming - but our kids will say that it’s a plus :)) After we asked about the pool it was immediately cleaned. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was really great. We recommend this place! No worries about the pool we swim and everything was good :)) Beautiful view!

this is an amazing place! the location itself is just beautiful. the beach is right at the doorsteps. the whole spot is completely uncrowded, sometimes we were the only ones at the beach! some surfers come there, in the morning and evening it gets a bit more busy, but still it is an unbelievably lonely place. perfect for surf beginners and intermediates. the premises themselves are newly built, very clean and done up very tastefully. there is not a lot of rooms to rent, so it stays very familiar and there is a good chance you get to know all the other guests. Ryan and Roshan and the rest of the team are so friendly, they try to help you out with whatever you need. for us it really felt like staying with friends right from the beginning. to make it simple: we enjoyed our stay so much, i would have loved to stay longer. i could not recommend this place more!

We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

We had such a wonderful stay at Meraki. Iona and her family have created something truly special. The atmosphere is smoothing and grounding. Everything works to make staying there a pleasure. The friendly and helpful staff. The beauty of the building, gardens and pool. The attention to details that make such a difference - there are little touches everywhere from the quality of the linen to the delicious food. it’s all simply lovely. The roof top yoga room is also a wonderful addition to the hotel - with the choice of classes or personal use. We left Meraki feeling pampered and deeply relaxed. Thank you to the whole team. Highly recommend.

Such a gorgeous resort and hidden gem! Our room was clean and very comfortable, with a huge bed and large open shower. We stayed in many places in Sri Lanka but this was definitely one of our tops - wish we could’ve stayed longer! Food was also really nice, and very easy check in and check out process.

A beautiful location with a lovely view over Unawatuna beach. A fabulous pool! The rooms are spacious, clean and homely. The host was responsive, helpful and accommodating to our early check in time. The hill getting up to the property is A LOT but the tuk tuk drivers take you up and down as necessary before 10pm at night. The hotel does have a few animals such as a turtle who was very cute and some dogs which are very friendly but do provide you with an 8am alarm call most mornings with their barking which wasn’t always ideal! 😂 helped us to seize the day nevertheless. An ideal property which is very good value for money, would highly recommend!

We stayed at for a week and came to appreciate the serenity after the hustle of Galle. The home cooked food was amazing. The best we ate in Sri Lanka. The monkeys and birds kept us entertained. So did the mosquitoes - be warned. We loved the pool, and Praneeth brought us beers and pool towels - you have to ask but they are very obliging. The site is far steeper than we imagined. It is a hybrid homestay hotel. No kitchen or longer stay facilities, but they will provide food and what you need if you ask. Bring an extra pillow and eye mask if you want to be comfy - and a blanket, but it is clean and pretty. I was a bit shocked at the shower/bath - more a trough and I was scared to climb in. But I got the hang of it and enjoyed the ritual. I would not recommend for people with mobility issues. We hired a driver. Essential. He cursed the road though... it was rough on his car. In all, a nice hide away for a short break from the hectic pace of Galle, clean, nice hosts and great food.

Really nice stay at Kara. Beautifully decorated villa which is kept immaculate and clean. We had our room cleaned every day. The pool area is gorgeous. The area was great with a number of amazing restaurants/cafes within walking distance or 5 min scooter away. We rented a scooter for a reasonable price.

Had the best time staying at Dominic's! Really lovely home, beautiful design, open and spacious. Shared kitchen was really helpful to have and very clean. Lovely restaurant Nimals is right next door. Great location to access all of ahangama area but quieter because it is set back from th main road which we loved. Perfect combination of families, couples, travellers etc.

We really enjoyed our stay and Ahangama. The facilities are right across from a nice surf spot for intermediate surfers and surf rental. Walkable distance to everything you need and friendly staff. Lovely facilities and interior! We would definitely book here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Jungle. We stayed almost 3 weeks. The rooms are classy, the view is amazing, and the location is convenient to all the shops. the staff are professional and very polite and helpful. The sand on the beach is lovely, light, and soft to walk on. The ocean here has fantastic bug eaves you can watch. Its fun to wade in but dangerous to swim a lot of the time. Great for boogie boarding. The food was great and the restaurant service was impeccable.. thank you to all the wonderful staff for allowing us to feel right at home.

I recently stayed at a stunning villa in Weligama, Sri Lanka, booked through Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience for my family and me. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy and clean, and the common areas offered plenty of room for our two children to play and relax. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the warm hospitality of the hosts. The host’s wife greeted us with a smile and served us the most delicious morning tea with milk . The villa is located in a very peaceful and quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect retreat for families seeking tranquility. The environment felt safe and welcoming, and we appreciated how baby- and family-friendly the space was I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Weligama

Villa Alba is a beautiful place, well designed and hidden behind lots of greenery. Perfect spot to relax and hide away. A scooter ride away from the beach and restaurants. The members of staff are really helpful and accommodating. Recommend.

Such a chill place with beautifully decorated rooms and a gorgeous yoga shala and nice swimming pool. The host is super friendly and they served the best curries in all of Sri Lanka.
