The little cottage was a great quaint/rustic private getaway, a short driving distance from the Eungella eateries and National Park attractions. Marilyn and her partner were helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. Their menagerie of various birds and their large friendly dog added to the ambiance. I cooked dinners both evenings I was there, and the place had all the necessary basics - unless you can't live without television (though that was a plus for me) or AC. However, powerful fans were supplied, and evenings were pleasantly cool. Only warning would be to reiterate that it's probably not suitable for those with mobility issues - as there are narrow winding steps to the sleeping loft above the main level, and another set of steps down to the toilet/shower below the main level. But overall it was very reasonably priced, and I would not hesitate to stay again!

We would highly recommend staying here, it is exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable and extremely gracious hosts who are super friendly and very happy to provide all needed information. The place is in a beautiful environment, and it is a special place.

Such an adorable place with many delightful touches. Located in a quiet street in a cute (but tiny) country village with friendly locals. The house is just as in the photos, with beautiful furniture, squeaky old wooden floors, lovely stained glass windows and all the comforts you may wish. Highly recommended. We stayed there during the recent monsoon deluge so did not have the opportunity to explore the surrounds as much as we would have liked (and hoped), but the house made up for it.

amazing location and beautiful unique airbnb accurate as described and just perfect 👌 great fre kids I'm local (moranbah) and stayed mainly with my 3.5 yo toddler after his surgery and could not fault this beautiful villa. everything u could of needed was thought of...especially for children...great location 200m walk to beach. beautiful relaxing villa I will definitely be back!
