This place was just as beautiful as the pics! Remote and private, definitely worth every penny! Neighborhood was very calm and quiet, just what we were looking for. Adam was an awesome host! Any questions or concerns, I received a response quickly. The house was beautifully stocked, clean and just what we needed for a big family. We were able to have our own space and eat together in the big open dining room. Everything was perfect. The list in the guidebook helped for when we needed food suggestions. And the hot tub a big plus for the cold. We went for a wedding and were 15 mins out from the venue, it was a big help to be that close to just run back and forth. If weʻre ever in the area, I would not hesitate to book with Adam again. Thank you!

This was my third time staying at Jennifer's yurt, and it was a great stay as always! So close to everything you'd want in Santa Barbara, but a really lovely escape into nature, with a clear view of the stars and so much tranquility. Highly recommend!

Todd was great in communication. He helped us relocate during the Palisades fire. Plenty of space and lots of rooms.

Staying at Danna's place was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. The location was perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully relax and recharge. Danna is an incredible host! We found Merrie's place to be perfect for our needs for the few days we were in the LA area. First of all Merrie is super sweet & helpful even with our( low tech life) issue with entrance instructions. The guest house is beautiful, modern, and very clean. The shared pool was always available and a lovely addition to our day and evening activities. We loved the farmers market Merrie recommended to us almost every vendor was certified organic! Such a plus as we love to cook make all our meals from scratch. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and had enough space to include a computer work station. One of my favorite perks of Merrie's place is the dressing room. I always feel cramped with my suitcase and things lying around . She has an entire room with a clothing rack for hanging garments, pegs for hanging towels & other items, a dresser to keep cloths, a mirror and its big enough to relax and get ready. We loved the space and will rent again when we are in the area. Thank you Merrie!

I was in town for my graduation from CSUCI’s Masters Program. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and had to be perfect. I could not have picked a better place for my family to come celebrate this milestone with me. Thank you for all you did to create the perfect environment for my family. Especially my parents who have health issues and who had travelled from such a long way away. Your hospitality means more than you know 😊

Judy was a wonderful host. The house was absolutely gorgeous and just what I needed for this trip. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There's lots of restaurants nearby and it was a 5-minute drive from where we would be working at. Overall, a wonderful experience and would highly recommend booking a stay at this house.

We were extremely comfortable and there was not anything we “wanted” for. It was beautiful views and surrounding areas. Great stay! Would recommend it to anyone.

Chico & Coco are epitome of generous, gracious hosts. We were greeted with a bottle of wine & delicious fresh fruit upon arrival. The landscaping brought joy to my heart from the banana trees to the sunflowers. The place was fully equipped with everything we needed & the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed reading on the balcony & walking my dog through their wonderful, friendly neighborhood. The location is close proximity to everything, walking distance to East Beach, a 7 minute car ride to Butterfly Beach, a quick car ride to state street. Overall it was an incredible experience & we hope to stay at one of their properties again/in the near future. Thank you CoCo & Chico, we wish you nothing but love, health & continued success!!!

The Treehouse is an absolutely beautiful retreat - peaceful and quiet amid stunning scenery. It is easy to reach the Topanga state park where the hiking is wonderful - with this location, it is hard to believe you are so near the city areas of LA! The house is very well equipped, beds are very comfortable with great linen. Sheena gave us excellent instructions and help and was friendly, welcoming and responsive. We were delighted with everything.

Thank you, Grady, for offering such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view! The openness of the living area, the different outdoor areas to gather together or just relax alone quietly, and the dedicated office area made our stay the perfect place to reconnect and visit with family we hadn't seen in awhile. The house was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen has a great coffee maker and the ocean view from the dining room was beautiful. We especially loved the surfboard table in that area. We can highly recommend a stay here!

Fred was amazing and so accommodating as we were evacuated out of our area due to the fires. It was so short notice and he was so kind and opened his home to me and my family. I will be grateful for this and I highly recommend if you need a place to stay, stay at Fred’s place. He will make sure you have a great stay!

We loved staying at Lauren’s listing! The place was gorgeous, relaxing, and super comfortable. Best sleep i’ve had in forever! We loved taking a dip in the hot tub after our busy day and it was really convenient to have a washer and drier in our unit. Lauren as a host was wonderful, accommodating, and kind. For example, my fiancé was having an allergic reaction to a new face wash he brought on our trip and i forgot to bring Benadryl, after messaging Lauren she rushed down with some and saved the day! When we checked in we saw in the kitchenette that they had left a clear list of check in/out instructions, information about the area, and house rules which was much appreciated. We also arrived to a stocked mini fridge and a delicious bottle of wine! It was very thoughtful. Overall I would recommend this listing to anyone and everyone! The place was great and the hosts were even greater. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

This was a great house and we hope to stay again! Note that the studio is separate from the house and you do have to walk outside from the house to get there, but it is right next door, and the casita is a bedroom at the other end of the backyard from the house with only a bed in it. Also note that the sleeping nook in the 2nd bedroom is not a full twin size, but more narrow. The grounds are gorgeous and the house is well maintained and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is very family friendly, with both beach and More Mesa in easy walking distance.

Beautiful home & very well stocked kitchen, linens, etc. It is close to downtown so there is a lot of traffic in the area. Our daughter got married in SB & this was a great meeting location for family & jumping off point.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay. The view is beautiful and it's a close drive to restaurants.

Joel's place was perfect for our 2 night destination wedding stay. Joel responded immediately to our needs. His place is well appointed with a gourmet kitchen, coffee and a few little extras that made the visit special. The home is quiet and an easy 10 minute drive from Ojai. We would absolutely stay there again in the future.

My husband and I did a five day stay here and it was well worth it. We wanted to stay somewhere serene while still being able to explore Santa Barbara and Ojai. Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes away and Ojai is about 30 minutes. We bounced around between those two towns and also got to see what Carpinteria was all about. Steven's place is 7 minutes to the Carpinteria Bluffs where heaven meets earth. The locals are friendly and high in consciousness, they are one with the environment and take pride in their role in keeping it safe. The home itself is spacious with great views, the kitchen was fully stocked with the all the cooking essentials. Instacart delivers to this location if you need anything last minute. During the stay you will hear different sounds of farm animals in the distance which I found relaxing. The living room is comfortable with tons of lounge furniture and space. The outdoor decks have plenty of seating and is surrounded by wildlife. If you want peace come here!
