Monthly Rentals in Minnigaff

We really enjoyed our four nights at the Gardener’s Cottage. The cottage was lovely and homey, with comfy beds, cosy sitting room with open fire, and a fully equipped kitchen. There were nice quirky touches such as a shepherds hook as a curtain rail, and plenty of Harris tweed cushions. Location The location was excellent for our family. At the edge of Newton Stewart, handy for supermarkets and walks along the river. Just a few minutes drive to Galloway Forest Park - Kinnoughtree visitor centre, and all the Forest park has to offer. We particularly enjoyed the Raider’s Road drive passing the Otter Pond and seeing Red Kites. We returned to Kinnoughtree at night for stargazing, as it is a Dark Sky Park, and managed to spot the Milky Way and a shooting star! 10 minutes drive to Wigtown, Scotland’s book town, full of excellent bookshops. We would highly recommend the Gardener’s Cottage and hope we can make a return visit soon.

A very conveniently located accommodation. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and tourists looking for a beautiful place to stay with all your home ammenities. My wife and I stayed four nights. The lodge has everthing required to guantee a very peaceful and relaxing time. The private walkway down to the Summer House at the bank of the Cree was bathed in beautiful sun for 1 of our days. Highly recommended.

We cannot fault this place. Very luxurious and very clean. We had a brilliant time here for my 40th. Elizabeth (the host) went above and beyond for us by driving almost 3hrs to bring us a cot for our baby girl. We were so grateful. Communication was excellent and any questions we had were answered promptly. The property, surrounding grounds and area are all brilliant! The hot tub was superb! We will definitely be back.
