We had a fantastic time in Porto and would highly recommend this place for any couple looking to be centrally located and yet somehow just above the crowds and noise. A short walk and everything is available including many places to eat and shop. We walked to the river within 20 minutes and were about 10 minutes from the metro. We contacted Maria Joao about a couple of small things and she responded immediately to our complete satisfaction. We would readily book this again.

Very comfortable, very clean and very well-equipped apartment. Good bedding and quiet environment on the bedroom side. Proximity to subway appreciable . Our host Sonia was very responsive to all our requests and provided us with a lot of information. I recommend the address.

Excellent location. The area is quite lively on the weekend, with the weeknights a little more quiet. Loved having breakfast right down stairs in the morning. Looking out at the irega del carmo in the evening made for an unforgettable experience.

We absolutely loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was lovely - exactly like the photos, and very clean. Location was perfect, peaceful but still had loads of places for food an drink nearby, but also just a short walk to the centre. Communication was great - host was super responsive to any queries. Would 100% recommend!

One can not imagine being in a better place that ruby charm. We had a great time, it was the right distance to move to the historical center, close to the subway and buses lines. An ideal place to stay to see the most touristic areas of Porto because you can get everywhere on foot. Francisco is also a great host, attentive before arrival, and he also offers recommendations and several additional services (we used the parking space and it was a success without a doubt). We were also able to take our dog, because she was allowed in the accommodation, and it was fantastic.

Perfect location for a exploring Porto on foot. Nice, clean apartment in a well maintained old building. Just be aware of the stairs, not ideal if you’re not very mobile. Overall highly recommend with easy check-in/out and responsive communication from host

The accommodation was as pictured, clean and spacious! It is in a good location and there is a gas station nearby. The hot water came out well and the wifi was fast. The host's wife greeted us, and she was so kind. They also informed us about public transportation, and everything was perfect in the accommodation. I highly recommend it. 👍🏻

The apartment is very good, everything is very new, very well kept and tasteful. Very easy access through a key. Very quiet area just outside O Barco, if you like to walk, 10 minutes to the village. Everything's great! If I go back to the area, I'll stay here again.

Quiet beautiful home and interesting location. Tapia is a beautiful, lovely village surrounded by attractive beaches.

An apartment near downtown Santiago, in a semi-residential neighborhood. You can walk (about 20 minutes) or take the bus and you're in Plaza Galicia in 5 minutes, although the frequency is not very good.... The apartment had all the amenities you needed and communication was constant. We recommend it without hesitation!

The stay was great! Iremita is an excellent host, she is very attentive to anything you need during your stay and gives good recommendations for places to visit and about the subway. The place is just like the photos and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and everything is clean. It is close to the D line of the subway, Vila d'Este station, to get to Porto. I totally recommend it, I hope to be able to come back another time, I'm very happy.

The place is truly special. The hosts are warm and the atmosphere familial. The place - a temporary shared apartment, is a great place to meet people. At the same time, there is enough privacy through your own room with a bathroom. The location is wonderful. In the middle of the mountains, surrounded by fantastic scenery, rivers and only a half hour away from the sea. Exciting experience. Can only recommend to everyone to try it out for themselves.

He welcomed us at the door and explained everything in detail, answering our questions. He recommended local food and places. The house and room were clean. I definitely recommend it! :)
