Monthly Rentals in Middle River

Our group unanimously agreed that during our three-week trip to Australia, our four nights at Topdeck were the absolute highlight. Not only is the island simply stunning, but the house is perched on the most peaceful hill surrounded by kangaroos and right by a pristine beach. If you stay here (and you should!), keep your eyes peeled for dozens of koalas that occupy the trees lining the road up to the house driveway. We were a group of six adults, so four bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us. We also cooked every night, so the incredibly well-stocked kitchen was very appreciated and used (the Nespresso machine and pizza oven in particular!). We loved the overall comfort of the home, and the deck was an amazing spot for a sunset cocktail. None of us wanted to leave, but we are all banking on the hope that we will be back here someday!

What a wonderful base to explore Kangaroo Island! The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, there were books and games for the kids, a wonderful garden and a great balcony, as well as a gas BBQ that we could use. Jonny and Simone were wonderful hosts! And to top that, the location is perfect, at the heart of Kangaroo Island, close to everything, but still very secluded. Very highly recommended!
