Kurt is an attentive and welcoming host! He was readily available when we had questions and was quick to help with hiccups. The listing is 100% accurate, with a fully loaded kitchen, 2 well appointed bedrooms and a large bathroom. Since the apartment is on the main road, it was quick to walk (10mins) or take a ZR (3mins) to Oistins. The area was a perfect mix of residential but close to the everything. We had a car but it wasn’t necessary for our adventures. The WiFi was great; we streamed from our Chromecast and did video calls without any issues. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay here. We will be returning in the coming months!

Great place - just as described. Super easy access to the main road for busses and only a few minutes walk to the beach. As reviewed by others, Joy provides lots of snacks and some basic groceries, which was really appreciated. The house was super clean and Joy was very responsive when there was a small issue with the bathroom. She also checked in with me after I arrived to ensure that all was in order and again before I left. I really appreciated the attentiveness! It was a fairly short walk to Massey's (the grocery store) in Oistins, but don't hesitate to take the ZR buses as they are definitely part of the experience of Barbados! :-) A few tips for fellow travelers who may need this guidance (I did!) - the switch for the living room ceiling fan is the half switch by the balcony. And the screens have a release trigger (push down first) so that you are able to open the windows and enjoy the breeze off the ocean. I would definitely stay at Hidden Jewel again!

I had an amazing stay and look forward to coming back again someday. I felt a lot of love in this home just from the backstory and how helpful Denise and Katie were. Katie would check in on me daily and let me know that it was no trouble for her if I ever needed anything. There were loads of recommended restaurants that were listed in a folder in the house that I got a chance to experience and they didn’t disappoint. Everything was within walking distance and it was always nice to greet the neighbours on my daily walks also. The house looked exactly like the pictures and things were easy to use in the house too. I was sad to leave as it felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend and hope to be back very soon! Thank you again Denise and Katie for being so accommodating and making me feel at home ! ❤️

The studio was just as described, perfect location - walking distance to the supermarket, beach & Oistins bay gardens. Paula was an amazing host, nothing was ever too much for her and she would always help whenever needed quickly!
