The place was as lovely as in the pictures. Howard is one of the best and most helpful hosts I have come across. Fishing at the dam was lovely with excellent views. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Wow, no other words can describe this experience, it felt like we were at a lodge nestled in the forest, from the moment Nelia awaited our arrival at the gate with those amazing doggos to the second we left, we felt like family. They were so friendly and loving, everything was on point, the place was so well equipped and comfortable. Nelia’s communication was on point and we had no questions to ask because everything was so clear, we had an amazing time chilling in the bar and also had such a nice chat with her husband Steven and her dad Wessel, amazing people. We also wanted to sleep in and asked Nelia if a breakfast option was available and boy did she knock it out of the park, she absolutely out cheffed herself and cooked us one amazing and flavourful breakfast. We highly recommend Abbondanté, definitely staying more than one night next time. Absolutely perfect for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you Nelia and Steven, we will be back soon xx

Great place and value for money

Lovely place to stay with the whole family. Nelly (helper) was very friendly and helpful. The Fishing was good, there was plenty space. All round awesome.

We had an excellent stay! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Everything went smoothly, and the host was truly amazing and attentive.
