I stayed at Shashi’s listing with my older aged parents. They loved both the apartment and building amenities and frequented in the lower level restaurant. I felt safe and Shashi was quick to attend to my needs as they arose.

Their place is absolutely gorgeous. Amazing view of the morning sunrise, but also in general. It’s a comfortable home.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. James was super nice. We were headed to the market for food and he offered to drop us off. On the way he showed us the neighborhood and gave us many local restaurant recommendations. He checked on us during our stay to make sure all was well. We went in the fall/winter time and wasn’t aware that most home don’t have central heating so at times the place is cold. James has solutions that help so we managed. Overall the place is beautiful and was a great place to stay during our trip to Johannesburg.

I booked the Tranquility lodge for my wife's 40th birthday. I really enjoyed our stay. Melanie was soo helpful from the booking date, even went out of her way to get me a professional photographer for our photoshoot. The lodge is a perfect getaway from the busy noisy city life. I love the fact that there is no TV, that gave us lot of time to catchup and revive our relationship. The fire place created a cousy feeling In the house. The out door shower was to die for, listening to the river flow, birds singing, what else can one ask for. The spa bath was also refreshing. I will definitely recommend to any couple, young or old. And I will definitely go back over and over again.

Absolutely amazing stay! The treehouse is magical – tucked away in peaceful nature, yet still so close to the city. It has everything you need, and the hot tub under the stars was a real highlight. A Perfect Nature Escape The Mountain Hide is a true gem nestled within a conservancy—ideal for anyone looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in nature. My partner and I spent the weekend there and loved every moment. The home is stunning, both inside and out, with thoughtful touches that make it feel welcoming and serene. We enjoyed peaceful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets, and spent our evenings braaing under the stars, kept warm by the convenient outdoor gas heater. One of the highlights was a guided morning walk with our wonderful host, Henriette. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made our stay even more memorable. I genuinely can't fault this place. It’s tranquil, beautifully maintained, and offers the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommended!

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

The place is wonderful and the hosts are great. Very responsive and allowed me to check in super early. I really enjoyed staying at the place. It is pricey, but stunning views and great location. My only comments are that I could see some of the furniture has been stained, damaged or worn by other guests. Also for a place this expensive there were no luxury amenities. Amenities were very basic. TV in living room was a bit older so I could not get Netflicks or Youtube. Still a great place but these things would have made a great place - superb. Minor touches but this place is definitely still a 9.9/10 and I would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay, no complaints. Anita and her husband were very responsive. We had a barbecue and us ladies couldn’t figure out how to turn on the BBQ stand and Anita’s husband arrived within 5mins to help us out! There was a moment of load shedding and he showed up immediately to turn on the solar before we eben called. The responsiveness made it feel so safe. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay at all hours which we appreciate as we were visiting from Australia so we were super worried before arriving. The house was pristine. The kitchen utensils were thoughtfully selected. Using everything felt so comfortable. We felt right at home and so so so hope that this Airbnb will be available next time we’re back because we will definitely book again! Thank you so much Anita and husband

Incredible Stay – Highly Recommended! This house was everything and more! It’s spacious, clean, stylish, and located in a peaceful, safe neighborhood with no noise – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was exceptional – always available, kind, and incredibly attentive. You can tell there’s serious care and thought put into every detail of the space. Rooms are large, bathrooms are big and spotless, and the overall layout is just beautiful. The outdoor area is a dream – clean pool, amazing patio, and a top-notch braai area. Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Worth every cent. I’d book it again without hesitation!
