Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mesa County

Picturesque location, convenient for our seminar group studying in the nearby, 20 minute drive, town of Hotchkiss. Super economical, friendly and communicative hosts. Quiet, bucolic surroundings. The group loves lollygagging around in the morning before heading into the day.

I came in town late under difficult circumstances. Cameron was responsive, helpful and compassionate. Appreciate the proactive approach. Place was perfectly clean and bed was great. All instructions were listed and wifi was great. Great place, great host.

The house was great and a short walk to a playground. There were lots of extra blankets, pillows and linens which was perfect for the kids sleeping on the futon. Neighborhood felt safe and the house is on a quiet street.

The Centennial House was perfect for our family of eight. We came together from across the country to enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was extremely well stocked and large enough for several cooks at once. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The location was wonderful for local hikes. Tamara was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

The Rood House worked out perfectly for us. Everything in description was accurate. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Very convenient location. We walked to Main Street to enjoy the Christmas lighting. It really put us in the Holiday spirit.

We had a relaxing stay at this lovingly restored Victorian Airbnb. Classical music and soft lighting awaited us upon entering this cozy home. My husband said that the bed was one of the most comfortable he ever slept in. There was a family of deer that frolicked in the yard in the morning and at dusk. The views from the back yard were spectacular! We appreciated the extremely well stocked kitchen and numerous cozy spaces that were created throughout this historic home.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving with family. Mary's place accommodated our 4 generations from the one year old to the 87 year old. There are stairs to the bedrooms so it might not work for all older people but it worked well for us. My mother in law lost an earring and Mary found it and got it back to us. We would stay again.

This was our second stay in the Escalante tent. Our first stay was in 2022. The property was already awesome back then, but the hosts have done a TON of work these past 2 years from the community pool area, bathrooms and pathways, to all the decorations, lighting, and sitting areas that give an overall inviting feeling to the property. We've stayed at other glamping properties, but this one is by far the best. The scenery is top notch. There are no crowds in Gateway, so it is very peaceful. The drives south towards Naturita along the Dolores and over the pass to Moab are incredible. The tent comes with everything you need to cook/eat, build a fire, or just relax. Also, the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept on, even compared to expensive hotels I've stayed in. On top of it all, the Escalante is pet friendly. Our dog loved this place. He's since passed on to bigger and better things, but we'll make the Escalante tent a regular stop to celebrate his memory.

So beautiful and quiet. The perfect place to enjoy quiet, beautiful vistas and privacy while be close to Fruita and Grand Junction. View of the Monument and Book Cliffs especially at sunrise was breath taking. There were a million stars at night and it really was relaxing to be away from it all. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and spacious, perfect for a large group. The location is fantastic, very near to hiking/biking trails and amenities and with incredible views. We loved the backyard fire pit and hot tub. It is very family friendly with lots of cool spaces for kids; a great kids room with bunk beds, tree house and club house and lots of toys and games. The kitchen was well stocked and with a nice open dining area, and there were good hang out spaces. We would love to return.

Perfect place to stay while we were in Fruita for a MTB fest! We would happily stay again!

Loved staying here! The farm was peaceful, nice view of the Mesa. Place was clean and comfy. Had everything I needed! Bonus was the dog greeting me!

Awesome place if you have a dog, nice to have a fully fenced backyard. Clean, quiet location. Easy check in and out. Close to wineries!

The space is perfect for one or two people; it was also really nice to have a place to let my dog out! Walkable to downtown, but quiet location. And the best coffee I’ve had in an Airbnb! Would definitely stay here again :)

Incredible hosts. You know the phrase “give more than you take” — that’s how Amanda and her husband treated me, with warmth and hospitality after a long arduous journey on the road. It was very appreciated. Fire and star gazing were wonderful as well. Thank you so much!

One of the cutest and most equipped rentals I’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot!). From the awesome design and eclectic touches to the comfortable bed and furniture, this place was perfect. And the location is great as you’re super close to the good bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!

My husband, dog, and I stayed one night while moving from CO to CA. We parked in a nearby parking lot because of the size of our truck and trailer, which required a lot of back-and-forth walking to bring our things inside. Johnny helped by offering his wheelbarrow and tractor, which was a huge help! They even let us borrow a padlock for the truck. We felt very safe and at home inside their space. Our dog enjoyed sniffing around and meeting her first horse.

We had the most magical stay in Palisade! The property was even better than we could have guessed from the airbnb profile. Each bedroom was nicely furnished and cozy and the property had enough sleeping spaces to accommodate our big group comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the kitchen ware we needed and it was great to have one of the backyard picnic tables right out the kitchen door and up close to the animals! The outdoor spaces were wonderful and the animals were an absolute highlight. Our group had so much fun hanging out with the animals, they were all so sweet and gentle. Walter, the caretaker was super accommodating, telling us about all the animals, and even collecting fresh eggs for our breakfast! We loved hanging out on the pond and floating down the river. Could not recommend this place enough to anyone wanting a great visit to Palisade

We had a great stay at Arti's place. Clean, well equipped, as shown in listing. Convenient location by a nice park. Arti was very responsive. Would recommend and stay again.
