Family-friendly vacation rentals in Merseyside

Beautiful house with home from home comforts in a lovely well kept residential area. Lots to keep us entertained… hot tub, pool, arcade games, darts, swing ball and lots of board games, which brought back childhood memories… hadn’t seen some of the games in years! And also some newer games which we hadn’t seen before. Everything was in the house as we were expecting. We were very lucky with the weather, so spent lots of time exploring local areas too. Lytham and Lytham St Anne’s are lovely… not as busy as Blackpool. Son and daughter explored Blackpool and Blackpool zoo. Model village near the zoo is worth a visit too. All are about 15-20 minutes drive. The Grapes in Wrea (about 5 mins from the house) does lovely bar food and welcomes dogs… treats, bowls and water provided.

Great place with great host. Would stay again. Location was perfect as a family wanting to visit Chester Zoo!

Had a lovely long weekend in Clawdd Offa Farm. Photos of the property were plentiful and accurate and communication with Ben was easy. The house itself is comfortable and well kitted out with some lovely touches. The tranquil location and the hot tub really made our college reunion trip special. And there was a fab little welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be staying again. It’s something different and so peaceful! We sat outside and lit a fire and looked out at the amazing views. Thankyou so much for our stay we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely little place. Loved the hot tub and the swinging chairs on the balcony. So peaceful! Had everything we needed for our stay. Gary was very helpful and friendly and communication was great. Would definitely recommend! Carlito's pizza, a 2 minute walk outside The Park Place Pub is a must too. Absolutely delicious.

An amazing visit. The place was perfect for what we wanted, being able to enjoy the sun in the garden, hot tub in the evening, kitchen and dinning area suitable for cooking and hosting for a large group and very comfy beds. Host was fantastic, check in and out details very clear, although nearby didn't feel overlooked at all and came over to offer to set up the outdoor seating area and bbq for us as the weather was great! Looked at recommendations in the area before going, went for food at small plates in Ruthin, canoed the aqueduct and went on a walk suggested in the airbnb folder! Would highly recommend and would visit again!

Spacious, great amenities, close to the Wintergarden and beach. clean and quiet. There are steep steps to get inside and the shoer/tub is high. Not a problem for us but would be if you have mobility issues.

Really enjoyed my stay. The apartment is very cosy and comfortable. Peter and Latasha were always quick to respond if I needed something and were very helpful. The place was also very clean and they even left tea and biscuits out for my arrival. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay, exactly what we where looking for, whilst visiting family for a couple of days. Extremely comfy bed, clean and the hoist was very proactive in communication at all times. Thanks for a great stay.

Caitlyn and Shaun are the perfect hosts and were always available to answer any questions. The house was lovely and homely, with lots of character. It’s in a fantastic location that we would highly recommend. Plenty of places to take our dogs for a walk and restaurants to have a drink or food. The pool table was a great added extra for us all and the main sitting area was a great large space with lovely doors that lead onto a beautiful decking area. This area was great for us all to relax and play games. Overall it was a lovely stay.

This property is an absolute gem, and Kim such a wonderful host . My family had an absolute wonderful Christmas break here ….. Kim pulled out all the stops with literally 8hrs notice!! Thank you so very much…. Would recommend 100%

Brilliant location, communication and beautiful flat.

Krásné, prostorné ubytování v malé zahradě, do které jsme mohli jít relaxovat. Dům stojí na zcela klidném místě, blízko zastávky do centra města i na letiště (stejný autobus č. 82). Coriinne i její manžel byli velmi milí a vstřícní nad rámec svých povinností. Matrace pružinové, pohodlné, kuchyň čistá a dobře vybavená, chyběla jen trouba. Byli jsme velmi spokojení. Mirka

Lovely accommodation. Spacious lounge and master bedroom. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Very well equipped. Welcome pack was a kind gesture. Host answered messages promptly.Will definitely use again in the future.

We had great stay with my colleagues, the flat was clean, nice neighbourhood. The host was very helpful and responsive, we had problem with water heating and it was fixed the same day. Thank you for being so fast.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly. Visited Lower Gill Farmhouse as part of my mum's 70th Birthday celebrations. 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 75! All rooms were a great size, was excellent having 3 en-suite rooms along with a very large main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The Kitchen was lovely, everything we needed and more - might have been nice to have tea/coffee and a little milk left for when we arrived after a long drive but luckily our tesco delivery arrived early so this wasn't too much of a problem. The living room had 3 good size sofas so we could all relax in front of the log burner. We made full use of the pool, games room, football pitch and tennis courts - a great addition especially for the kids and 4 hours allocation each day was perfect. Our dogs had a ball too - lots of places for them to run and play. Even in January we managed to spend lots of time outside and the little stream at the back of the cottaqe was wonderful. Great response from our host too, even though she was on holiday herself.

Highly recommend a 2 night stay here. There is so was much to do and it was so enjoyable - we had a group of 10 people ranging from 30 to 1 year old and we all had so much fun! From swimming all day to playing on the football pitch and tennis court - it was truly never ending fun especially for the kids. The cottage was lovely, very nice and clean and everything needed was already there. It is abit far from local shops so definitely something to keep in mind but other than that it was a great stay. Host is very helpful!

Great stay on way to Ferry. Missed the pizza as we didn’t know we had to give notice. But Tracey provided delicious alternative meal.
