Places to stay in Medicine Bow National Forest

This was our second time staying there. Brought my whole family. Ten minutes from Snowy Range. We skied, cooked wonderful meals, played games and just generally had a wonderful time. The view of the mountains from the cabin, the fresh snow and wandering deer, all breathtaking.

Amy and Lars were fantastic hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and offered a late checkout when the weather was bad. The cabin is located on their ranch and is surrounded by mountains, with a stream just downhill. It has everything you need and is well-organized, with Amy’s amazing artwork displayed throughout. There is plenty of room on the ranch for hikes and the Roosevelt National Forest is right next door. This is an absolutely perfect place to get away from everything and recharge. We loved it!

We loved our stay at the Snowy Hideout! It was a very comfortable house for our group of two families, with quick access to Snowy Range Ski Resort. The beds were especially comfortable, and we spent our evenings playing some of the many board games and puzzles that Sheila provided for guests. We will definitely return in the future for our next ski trip! Thank you, Sheila!

Staying here was great! We had such a great time staying at the cabin which was super peaceful & felt like home! The animals were so awesome to wake up to & my kiddo loved them. Paul is so nice & super helpful!

We loved our stay! It was a perfect location to Snowy Range skiing. The house had all the cookware, blankets, towels ect. that you would need. Jan was super helpful and answered any questions SUPER quick! Very nice person and we will definitely stay there again. Thank you, Jan!

We love staying at the dome house! If you are looking for a unique experience for your family, this is the place. The views are stunning and the kitchen is well stocked. We can’t wait to come back.
