Medicine Bow National Forest places to stay

We loved our stay at the Snowy Hideout! It was a very comfortable house for our group of two families, with quick access to Snowy Range Ski Resort. The beds were especially comfortable, and we spent our evenings playing some of the many board games and puzzles that Sheila provided for guests. We will definitely return in the future for our next ski trip! Thank you, Sheila!

Staying here was great! We had such a great time staying at the cabin which was super peaceful & felt like home! The animals were so awesome to wake up to & my kiddo loved them. Paul is so nice & super helpful!

This is the second time I’ve stayed here, which should tell you all you need to know. The location is great and the place is exactly what you would expect. The cell reception is limited but to me that is just one of the many things I love about this cabin. As a family we hung out at night playing cards and listening to music by the fireplace. Definitely make sure you have 4x4 or AWD because it can get snowy but that also makes the skiing and snowmobiling even better! I would suggest you visit the Steamboat Lake Outpost while there since that is such a hidden gem with all the adventures and a nice restaurant. We will definitely be back again to this cabin!

Max's place was beyond beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. Views were amazing, area is peaceful, private. Home was immaculate. Clean, everything you need away from home. It was perfect for my family of 4 but can definitely fit 6 people comfortably. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Max

Loved this home. Host was awesome and answered quickly as in minutes. So many extras that really made it stand out. Had paper towels. Dish soap So many little things that you could have forgotten. We will stay here again for sure.

We had a great time in family, the management was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival. It is right off of the highway and very close to grocery stores that have anything you may need. There is no service at this location, however, it was nice to unplug and spend time together with our family. It is very close to many trails and lakes you can visit. Also adventure centers and magestic mountain scenery. The sauna and lounge are very nice as well. Great value for the price.

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful mountain location. The cabin is perfectly decorated in the way a mountain cabin should be. Lennie even added some holiday decorations for the season, including a Christmas tree! Everything was very clean and organized, and everything we needed was there. We hope to return for another visit.

Great stay with the family and great fishing. Very comfortable and amazing fishing nearby.
