My family and I were in town for a basketball tournament at UNC and the location was perfect for us. The house was also very spacious and had everything we needed, especially for our little ones. They had so much fun in the play area! We were able to cook our own meals and relax at the house! The hosts of this wonderful home were always responsive, very thoughtful, and so accommodating. Overall, we had a great stay in this home! Thank you to Kristy, Ryan, and Jack the Dog!

Best Location in Old Town! Home on Mountain Ave

BriRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Philip and Larissa’s beautiful, cozy home during the high school state basketball tournaments. The location was perfect—just a few blocks from Old Town, restaurants, and grocery stores. Our kids especially enjoyed the toys, mini-golf, and DVD selection. The house was a great size for our family of six, and we truly appreciated being able to bring our pet. We would love to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us

NoWhere Special Homestead. Private Basement w/bath

GeorgeRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Adam's one-bedroom basement apartment in Ft. Collins! From the moment we arrived, Adam was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He provided clear and detailed instructions on how to access the property, and he even took the time to personally show us around, making sure we would be comfortable and answering all our questions. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a cozy, homey feel. The bedroom, living room, and bathroom were all very clean and well-organized. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a great spot to unwind. I would highly recommend this charming property to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Ft. Collins. We would definitely stay here again!

Family friendly Old Town Bungalow

GinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed for a short visit with my son who lives nearby. It is very close to the college and downtown area as well as shopping. Although it was nicely laid out, I do wish there was a TV upstairs rather than having to go downstairs to watch anything. Also, the laundry machines are due for a change out....the dryer burned some spots on a couple items. Overall, the place was warm and cozy for our stay.

Great place, cozy. Parking right on location. Clean. Walls are a bit thin, could here other people on other side talking and the bed was a bit small and noisy when moving around. Other than that i enjoyed my stay. Neighborhood was calm and the area was quiet and close to downtown.

Quaint Countryside Hideaway on an Acre

BobRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Alyssa's home was a perfect place! It was a very clean, comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of room, everything worked well, it was very well stocked and I was totally comfortable there. It was great to have coffee and filters already there! Alyssa was a fantastic host and an excellent communicator. I really liked the keyless self entry - super convenient. The layout of the home was very efficient, and the parking was right by the entry. At night, automatic lights made it easy to find your way, even when your hands were full. I could have been very comfortable staying there for a long time! Bob

The Funk Casita: Dog Friendly, Private Fenced Yard

KathleenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We are repeat customers for a reason! The place has a record player, is spic and span, comfortable layout, awesome backyard to hang out in and have meals. Near by, there are lovely walks along the river and the neighborhood is quiet. Lastly, there is an actual coffee pot. But let’s also focus on the host. She’s lovely, and in my book, the host is nearly as important as the place. 5 stars. We will return.

Private Guest House

CourtneyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Anna is a great host! The property was easy to find, up to date, clean and had chickens as promised!! Our son loved feeding them! One of them let us pick her up! There is a grocery store across the street and gas station 1/2 block away which was very convenient. There was easy instructions to get in the property and Anna was responsive if I had any questions. We accidentally left our son's blanket and she was very helpful to assist us in getting it back. Highly recommend Anna's place!! We will definitely stay again soon!

All About Fort Collins

Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains around 60 miles north of Denver, Fort Collins is a vibrant city known for its craft beer, bike-friendly streets, and lively state university. You’ll find all the boutique shops, restaurants, galleries, and breweries you need in Old Town, considered one of the most walkable downtowns in the country. Murals cover the brick buildings here, showcasing local artists, while live music drifts from bars, cafes, and street corners. Fort Collins sits in the shadow of Horsetooth Mountain, so named for its gap-toothed summit. This riot of rocky open space (more than 2,700 acres) includes a waterfall, reservoir, and more than enough hiking and biking trails to keep you huffing thin mountain air for weeks. In summer, the clear waters of the Cache la Poudre River, which is the state’s only Wild and Scenic River, are great for tubing, fly fishing, and whitewater rafting.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Fort Collins

With around 300 days of sunshine each year, there really is no wrong time to stay in one of the vacation rentals in Fort Collins. Summers in northern Colorado tend to be warm but pleasant, making it the perfect time to enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking, biking, or whitewater rafting. As winter rolls around, expect to see Old Town Square transformed with twinkling lights, a pop-up ice skating rink, and holiday decor along the streets and inside the windows of the shops. No matter when you make the trip, come prepared with multiple layers of clothing, especially as the temperatures start to drop during fall and winter.

Festivals and events are held all year long. In March, the Great Plates Festival celebrates local restaurants and raises money for charity. The Taste of Fort Collins is a two-day family-friendly food and music festival held in June, and FORToberfest is an October celebration with live music and local craft beer.
