Monthly Rentals in Matiu / Somes Island

Claire is an absolutely lovely host and we had an amazing stay! Everything looks just like the photos, the location was perfect for us and everything was very clean and tidy. Highly recommended!!

We loved staying at James and Nadine’s place! First impressions were that it was bright, clean and smelt incredible! It was easy to find. The only downfall we found is that there is a skylight in the bedroom - typically a great thing to have for daytime or night for adults but we have a 1 year old who struggled for his naps because we couldn’t darken the room. I wouldn’t rate them down for this, but it is just something to note if bringing a baby with you. They are very responsive and kind, and even left some little toys out for our toddler which was the extra mile. The shower here was the best shower I have ever had. Would highly recommend!

Great location. Nicola’s home had everything that we needed. Thank you Nicola for accommodating both us and our two dogs. The weather in Wellington wasn’t playing ball, but Nicola’s place was cozy and warm (even though it was technically Summer in Wellington.) Highly recommend staying there.

Clean and comfortable apartment that was prefect for our stay. We didn’t get to meet Joe and Rachel but they communicated really well and kindly left the light on for us as we arrived late after our ferry crossing.
