We had a fantastic stay. The accommodation is in an beautiful location surrounded by coconut palms and peacocks roaming the grounds. The property itself was just as the photos with all furniture and ammenities of a high quality and we felt very comfortable. The pool was a great addition. The property location was ideal from us as it was quiet and peaceful but still only a short Tuk Tuk ride to the beaches, restaurants and shops. A special mention to Indica our Tuk Tuk driver a really lovely guy who was always ready to take us where we wanted to go. The friendly help of the guys on site was a huge bonus. They were always available to help with any request. Sophie was always available and quick to respond although we rarely had to bother her as everything we needed was there. The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

Beautiful house and garden. We felt totally at home, and so well looked after. There is a caretaker who lives in a house on the grounds so you have the peace of mind that there is someone there should you need anything and he keeps the place secure. We also had a team come every morning at whatever time we wanted to make us the most amazing breakfast- pancakes, waffles, fruit, roti, dahl, eggs, tea etc. It was a 10 min walk to the shops and beach and easy to grab a tuk tuk back when we wanted. Air con was great. Pool was beautiful. Monkeys and peacocks entertained us in the morning. Can’t fault the place.

kasun had a beautiful villa. he was very helpful. he had a good smile and always helpful with all the things. best part was breakfast. it was wholesome, full of fresh items and good options to have. this villa is in middle of mirissa and weligama so you have access to both the world. Would definitely recommend you the place

We stayed in Hiriketiya for a few days in early April and had an amazing time in the area. Siri the housekeeper really made our stay, he was amazing helping us with any house questions we had as well as giving us recommendations in the area and telling us fun facts about Hiriketiya.

I am a solo traveller and had all the best intentions of travelling Sri Lanka. Having fell in love with the coast, I decided to change plan and book a villa for a few days. Wow, blown away by this place. Exactly like the photos, if not better. The beach is so private and love that you can see the waves crashing from your bed/outside dining area. Very well thought out. What made this extra special was the service levels from Charith, what a top guy! Nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive and attentive but always respecting privacy. Thank you for making me feel at home and so well looked after. Outside the villa, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. My first time in Sri Lanka but I’ll defiantly return. Loved the diverse landscapes, food and most of all the people.

Beautiful villa in a lovely location. The staff is super helpful and we loved our stay. Lots of restaurants in the area and a beautiful beach just few steps away. highly recommended.

What can I say? The days at the accommodation were perfect. My wife and I have traveled through 74 countries and stayed in some top class Airbnbs, this was the best so far because the overall package was right. Quiet and private location, super well maintained, the pool was bigger than it looked in the photos, the location was perfect between Midigama and Ahangama, everything was within a few minutes reach. Our children more than enjoyed the large garden to play in. But now we come to the absolute highlight, which made us feel like home. Special thanks goes to the chef Prabod, who provided us with delicious food every day and read every wish from our lips. We would also like to thank Shantha and Nishante, who looked after our safety, the cleaning and the garden. All three of them took great care of our children and were always ready to have fun. Thanks to you three, we have taken Sri Lanka to our hearts and have made friends on the other side of the world. Thank you guys.

Our stay at the Soulhouse was incredibly wonderful. We had an unforgettable time. Elspeth is an excellent hostess. She looked after our well-being at all times and fulfilled our wishes to the best of her ability (eg. Pilates with Rosie :)) The staff in the house was also very obliging and looked after us very well. The breakfast was extensive and we were able to decide on a daily basis with the cook. We also requested a large BBQ, which was a complete success. The prawns, crabs and fish were of the best quality and bought directly from the market. Great importance is attached to the ambience, the furnishings and the cleanliness. The house is in the forest and on one side you look out over a large field. We saw countless animals. However, you need a car to visit the village or the beach, as the house is a little out of the way. This was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed the vibe. We all felt very comfortable and would come back in a heartbeat.

Lookout is categorically the best place to stay in Dickwella or Hiriketiya - if you don’t believe me go on google maps satellite and look around - there is no where else with an amazing pool and beach access. If you are choosing between Dickwella and Hiriketiya - trust me, choose Dickwella. It’s the far more beautiful beach to wander and enjoy beautiful sunsets with or without a cocktail. With all its natural advantages, the actual villa is perfect - 4 massive rooms with aircon, big bathrooms, lots of storage space to unpack, big living space, great covered terrace downstairs to eat under and balcony upstairs that rooms along the 3 rooms up there. The pool is brilliant, with padded sun loungers for everyone and sun all day. Staff were the best bit - incredible chef, cooked anything well but the Sri Lankan meals were incredible, Sam, our butler, made everything a joy, and the rest of the team were great - super friendly. For kids - perfect - cribs, toys, food, nanny’s nearby.

10/10 Before the stay I was in contact with Bárbara who was super helpful in answering all My questions. The villa is fantastic, spacious rooms. 3 rooms have the shower outside which we thought was quite nice, kids loved it. The staff was great and always Polite. They helped us with everything we needed. Place was spotless for us every day. They also cooked great meals for us. Special mention to Sumudu the villa host, he was amazing and quick to learn what we liked (for example bringing us coffee early morning while we waited with the kids for the staff to cook breakfast) The pool was great ( just beware if you’re with kids the concrete floor outside of it was super slippery, bring rubber shoes) The house is close to Mirissa beach by car. But is a little more difficult if you’re walking down. Also- if you have toddlers- there’s a lot of staircases and the pool is open, so bear it in mind you’ll have to keep a constant eye on them. We had a big group of 11 and we had space to spare.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

The villa was outstanding and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The pool was just perfect, the bedrooms have the most beautiful sea view, the living room very comfortable and from the rooftop terrace you can watch the most beautiful sky at night and observe the stars. I loved everything about the place. I totally reccomend a cooking lesson with the villa’s private chef, who is super talented. The beach here is the best beach in the area in my opinion. You can swim here and it’s also a perfect spot for surfing. I can’t wait to be back.

The villa was immaculate and felt so homely as soon as I arrive, my family then arrived and 2am and the villa manager stayed awake to greet them. Jerome and his wife were beyond hospitable and the team cooking and cleaning the same. The food is exceptional and exceeded expectations. The villa is situated a few steps above the beautiful, what felt like our very own private beach. Absolute Paradise in Madiha! Our family of nine spent two blissful weeks at this stunning beachfront villa. The location was paradise—steps from the beach, where we watched turtles swim daily. The staff made our stay unforgettable: Charith (manager) ensured everything was perfect, Amila (chef) cooked incredible meals—fresh grilled fish and prawns, sublime curries, and delicious breakfasts, all served under the pandanus trees. Tharu arranged seamless travel and excursions. Every request was met with warmth and efficiency. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. We were treated like family. The villa’s serene setting, combined with exceptional service and mouthwatering food, made this a dream holiday. We can’t wait to return!

My family and I had an amazing time staying at the Papaya Pad in April 2025! The house was spacious, clean and comfy. The kids (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the outdoor table and lounge space. The bathrooms were modern with good water pressure and ample hot water. The house was situated perfectly in Weligama. It was a 5 minute walk to the beautiful, expansive beach as well as many cute coffee shops, restaurants (including Moochies - yum!) and shops. Staying here provided us with such a relaxing beach and surfari holiday in the heart of Weligama.

We were so lucky to discover the Coconut Cottage as our first place to stay in Sri Lanka! Andy was an incredible host, booking us transfers from the airport, meeting us at the house on arrival, sharing a wealth of local knowledge and was super friendly and responsive during our stay. The house is only a two minute walk from the beach, cafes and restaurants of Hiri and very clean and stylish – and we all (family of four) loved the pool and back garden (and watching the monkeys swing around in the trees!). Thank you Andy and Sachira for a fab stay! Would highly recommend.

Staying at Pavithri’s place in Mirissa felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. She and her husband took incredible care of us - treating us like part of their family. Pavithri is an exceptional host with one of the fastest response times we’ve experienced, always helpful and thoughtful. She not only recommended local activities like snorkeling but also came along and helped arrange everything. We received a 10% discount on the snorkeling trip, which was totally worth it - we saw turtles and had a kind, friendly guide. Pavithri and her husband even drove us to these spots in their car and kindly offered us their bike to explore. Their home is beautifully decorated - one of the most charming Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and felt like home-cooked comfort. Mirissa can be quite humid, and the ground floor bedroom doesn’t have AC, though the two upstairs rooms do, so that’s something to keep in mind. Highly recommended!

Loved the visit to the Villa for our 2nd week in Sri Lanka. Madara and Amila were great housekeepers and the previews reviews were correct amazing home cooked food, I would say better curries than the restaurants and done just your liking and whatever we wanted they made for us. Amazing. Very accommodating to our needs, even though they live on site they gave us enough privacy to not let it affect us. I would definitely recommend this villa. The one criticism I would have is that the neighbourhood was quite noisy, dogs barking even in the middle of the night (luckily we brought ear plugs) the man selling bread and the tune he played all the time. Lots of fireworks going off from 7am in the morning due to it approaching New Year and noise from other houses, music etc but it may be again because of the New Year approaching and people celebrating and then all the nature sounds (which we love) - it didn’t really bother us too much but thought I would Mention this if want peace/quiet

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

Overall we had a great experience, was there for my bachelorette and the staff really put up with us. Only complaints- a few of the lights and fans were not working and were not fixed. We were definitely given tap water, one of the can was filled with tap water, I’m assuming they ran out of water in the night and one of the staff had no choice but to serve us that. Would still give the stay a 5 star review was the host was kind enough to help with local recommendations and the staff was there to help whenever asked.

Beautiful villa in great location close to the beach! Jude the host was very responsive, helping us arrange taxis and meeting us at the property. They were also flexible with check in/out times which was very helpful. The property was amazing, large and clean with security guard on site. Jude and his wife also cooked us an amazing dinner one evening. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed at don’s place for 3 days! What an amazing villa he has! It has a cute small pool to r lax and chill. Its surrounded with sooooo manyyyyy trees!! Could literally hear the birds in the morning.. felt so peaceful living here. One can easily live here for a month. Don is such a cutie, so helpful with everything.. Still cant get over his place will loveee to visit and stay for a longer time
