Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Matara

I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Sam and the team at the villa were the most attentive hosts I have experienced in any stay, let alone Airbnb. Myself and the other guests were extremely grateful for the truly helpful, kind and friendly nature of all the staff. Nothing was too much to ask and they all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The villa itself is off the beaten track, nestled in the hills and offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the private beach. There is enough things to do in the villa to keep yourself occupied, and this coupled with the views, it is truly a paradise. We were truly speechless upon arrival at how fabulous everything was and the memories we have made will stay with us all forever. Thank you very much and hope to see you in the future.

My husband and I accidentally double booked Kasun’s place due to a server error. We only realised this happened when we were checking in. Kasun understood when we explained the situation and provided partial refund, and he mediated with Airbnb for the remaining refund. The property itself was in a beautiful location, Would recommend to those who likes nature and wants a relaxing and a private time. Also has a pool with a great view. The staffs were lovely; welcomed us with a drink and helped carry our luggage to our room. They have a restaurant in the same premises and also did room service when we requested. Smaller vehicles are ok, big vehicles are not recommended as the pathway to the BnB is quite narrow. All in all good stay.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

This was a very last minute booking and Dahami and his family made us feel very welcome right from the start. The accomodation was exactly as shown in the photos if not better. You have the whole top floor which has 2 spacious double rooms both en suite, a living area, a balcony and a fridge! Everything was very clean and tidy. The location is about 100m from the main road and a 10 minute walk to the far eastern side of Weligama beach (this end is much quieter than the main section of Weligama beach which is about another 20 minute pleasant beach walk) Dahami made us a lovely breakfast for an additional charge. We wanted to stay an extra night but he was already booked so he arranged for us to stay with his neighbour, a perfect solution. We would happily stay again and highly recommend

What a wonderful stay we had. writing this review on our way to airport we just left the villa and can’t stop thinking of the super stay we experienced in the last 3 days. butler is amazing, good is delicious. since it’s on the beach do carry mosquito spray. just close to the villa is a great place the doctors house too - party place. the villa spacious, clean good for friends and family with kids. charit and chamara are awesome to communicate with. other helper are great too. barbecue so damn delicious and curries were yummy. food was fine dinning level. out of 3 nights 3 nights we ate at the villa under the fairy lights 🫰🏼100% recommended!
