Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Matamata-Piako District

Perfect location for us as we were attending a function at the Te Miro woolshed. The accommodation was all as described and the place was well maintained and tidy. Really appreciated the little extras like freshly baked bread with butter and eggs on hand. Made for a great breakfast the next day. Would definitely recommend :-)

The house was lovely and spacious and very homely. And we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved that the water was uv treated rainwater so no chemicals! It was a nice central spot to go to places like hobbtion, blue springs, tauranga and rotorua. The kids loved it there and I think we'd all be be keen to visit again sometime. It just made our holiday! Thank you so much!

We had a great stay here over Christmas. Plenty of space, beautiful surrounding and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Marina’s place while visiting the Waikato for a family wedding. Marina allowed us to check in due to the wedding starting earlier. Had a great stay & would recommend.

We stayed at Charlotte’s house in Cambridge and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Charlotte was kind enough to allow us to bring our 2 dogs who thoroughly enjoyed the large, fenced and easily accessible garden. The bedrooms were comfy, the lounge area with smart tv was inviting and the kitchen was well equipped, with everything being clean and homely. It really was a home away from home and we felt at ease there, making it a perfect base for our stay in the Waikato. We enjoyed its close proximity to Cambridge and really recommend the Suburban Kitchen around the corner for brunch and coffee! Charlotte was always available to answer any questions and to check we were ok and could find everything she’d thoughtfully organised for us. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoyed eating outside while our son had plenty of room to play. We hope Charlotte will have us back as we’d love to be regulars! Thanks Charlotte! Definitely one of our best experiences.

My family stayed here at the last minute when our other accommodation fell through and we were absolutely blown away! A beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. So peaceful and awesome waking up with cows around you! Felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Wendy was a superstar host with fresh milk and a fully stocked cupboard and freezer for us for a continental breakfast. We felt very spoiled and well looked after by Wendy. Never been happier to have our accomodation fall through - can’t wait to stay again soon!

This was my best ever experience staying at an air bnb. The house was amazing , so clean and the gardens are beautiful. Hosts were so thoughtful and went the extra mile. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely magical! Our family had the most incredible stay at this beautiful rural retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the peace and tranquility of It. The views of the water were breathtaking and the stunning sunrises were worth waking up early for. The house itself is spacious and beautifully appointed, with all the modern amenities you could need. We instantly felt at home. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the provided coffee was a delightful perk each morning. It was truly a place where you could unwind and reconnect with nature. This property is perfect for families. There was ample space for everyone to spread out and relax, and we found ourselves perfectly content to stay in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Honestly, you wouldn't need to leave the property unless you wanted to. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a gorgeous place in a country setting with a remarkable outdoor lounge/dining, fireplace, BBQ, and pool. The interior is also spectacular. Kaaren and Tim are the loveliest and most accommodating hosts, who responded to all our requests and went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. They were also extremely attentive to our privacy. The home is scrupulously clean, quiet, with lovely baths and comfortable beds. This was a paradise to come home to and relax after our conference.

Gaewyn’s place was kept beautifully inside and out! They are both lovely people to stay around and chat withand had the additional bonus of Miles (dog) who was always there to greet us when we returned home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I can back to New Zealand ☺️

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

Carol-Ann was a wonderful host to me and my partner. The property is beautiful, lovely gardens and super cool house. We felt very welcome there and made great friends with her cat. There is also a nice view of the hills from the house, Maungatautari etc. Very close to cambridge, and all its cafes, and Carol-Ann prepared us breakfast every morning with her home made bread. Thank you Carol-Ann for a wonderful stay!

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. We had a huge week looking after a school group while staying at Jacqui's place and the only negative was that we could not spend more time at her place around the pool or enjoying the incredible grounds

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful gardens. So private and peaceful. Perfect for our group of 8. Graeme and Jenny were so kind and responsive. Loved it!

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.
