The house is beautiful and the gardens absolutely stunning! The whole place is an oasis and you immediately relax when you are there. We would have loved to stay longer. Sharlene was so easy and quick in replaying to any questions we had!

Kate was very friendly. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Flexible check-out. Definitely recommend to others.

Brenda's place is wonderful! You feel right at home, surrounded by nature and her beautiful garden. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Brenda is a fantastic host who suggested some local attractions to visit. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights. There is no lock box on arrival as it states we were met by the hosts. Very quirky place as a converted milking shed. There was no cooking oil left - we text Sue to see if there was anymore but got no response and had to go out and buy some to cook with. That aside, would recommend it as a good place to stay especially if you have pets.

We had a wonderful stay at Simon’s place. The house was clean, well equiped and the perfect location for rest and relaxation. Simon was quick to respond to our messages, checked in with us to ensure we had arrived safely, provided local knowledge about the lake and water activities. We will definitely be recommending Simon’s place to anyone travelling in the area in the future.

This place is great! We were a big family group, and the house worked out perfectly. Lovely location, nice and quiet with lots of space for the kids to play. Pauly was an excellent communicator, so everything was easy. We would come back for sure.

This was a gorgeous stay! It’s a small walk into town with yummy options for food and the space is beautiful. It’s very historic and seems to be recently renovated in many main areas like the kitchens and bathrooms while keeping the historic charm. The backyard is so beautiful and peaceful. It fits a group comfortably as the main living area is sectioned to the side with a pull out with common spaces surrounding the kitchen. It was also a good central location for visiting Hobbiton (30-min) and Waitomo (50-min). Cambridge is a cuter small town than surrounding Hamilton which felt more industrial too.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Your house was gorgeous and warm & welcoming which was just what we needed at the end of very long Fieldays days. We also absolutely loved have cat cuddles at the end of each day. Thanks again!

Graeme and Jenny were most welcoming. They went above and beyond and even left us some groceries and Christmas treats, as we arrived on Christmas morning. The house was lovely, clean and decorated beautifully.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Teresa and Peter’s place. Having a second bedroom for our 15 month old to sleep in worked out well. Teresa had kindly placed some breakfast items in the fridge for us and Denver the dog would constantly drop fresh avocados outside our door. The tree-lined driveway ushers you up a hill to the main house and detached apartment that has magnificent views over the countryside towards the Kaimai Ranges from the lounge and main bedroom . The large wooden deck is a great place to relax and take in the scenery after a long drive. Matamata has a good choice of restaurants just 5 mins away. I highly recommend this AirBnB. It is clean, modern, well appointed and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
