Beach house vacation rentals in Martha's Vineyard

A minor communication glitch between host and cleaners meant two of the beds had not been made and probably a general cleaning between guests wasn't done. Fortunately the property was already very clean and the guests before me must have been, too. Everything else was in order. When I let the host know, she immediately contacted the cleaners while I went out for groceries. By the time I got back, the place was perfect and the cleaners were gone. I don't think this is a regular occurrence at all. In October this neighborhood was very quiet, which is a priority for me. And I felt very safe, which is also important. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

While the weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time) the cottage and views made up for the weather. From the table to the couch the views are wonderful. The cottage is very well stocked from towels and blankets to the kitchen. We did not need anything that wasn't supplied. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower might not work well for a larger person. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our long weekend and would book this cottage again.

This is a lovely home, on Clark's Cove peninsula, in "The Whaling City"! All amenities are included, & it's just steps away from the beach & historic Hazelwood Park! Also, the deck faces west, so there are magnificent sunsets every evening! We really enjoyed our stay here, & we're spreading the word amongst family & friends!

Gorgeous house and location. The beach is beautiful and literally steps away. Kitchen and downstairs bath, both decks, and grill area were outstanding. Views are beautiful. Restaurants in the area are delicious. Hosts are welcoming and responsive.

Valentina and Alex’s home was perfect in every way. From how clean and comfortable it was to its location directly across from the beach. They were so accommodating and helpful. If you have a family, a well behaved dog, and are looking for a stress free vacation on the beach this home is for you. Will definitely consider returning.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. We came here off season with our infant son. The cottage had everything we needed including a pack and play. We loved the view from the windows and spent lots of time looking at the waves and seagulls. The beach was sandy and lovely and we had a great walk around. Would definitely come here again during warmer days.

Great house with enough space for a group of 10!

Prescott’s house is such a relaxing place to stay with a big group. The house has a very pretty view and is very clean and peaceful. We are very grateful for such a nice stay at this beautiful house. The BBQ outside didn’t work great but other than that we had a wonderful time! Thank you Prescott.

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

This home was great for our family. The pool and backyard are beautiful, and the house was clean and welcoming. There are a lot of activities in the area. I would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this rental! The space was incredibly well-equipped, providing everything we needed and more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. The attention to detail in the amenities was impressive, from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living areas. Chris' home was clean, bright and very well-stocked. He was timely in communication, and the area was perfect. Beaches, dining and shopping were all within walking distance or a quick drive. It's a great location for taking the ferry to either Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. We certainly hope to return!

it is a nice comfy house esp for a family. Swimming pool and game room down in the basement would be alot of fun for kids to keep them busy at day time and night time. Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc are all right there esp. only like less than 5 to 15 minutes drive and also less than 25 minutes drive to go to north Falmouth or Wood Hole. They have a nice downtown with many stores, restaurants, bowling ally, etc which that is only less than 15 minutes drive from the house Also taking a walk from the house to the beach is so beautiful esp morning time. i walked every morning, and love every bit of the walk. It rained once during our vacation week and rest were sunny days for the rest of the week. We were lucky to have the good weather. Anyway, the house is approximately about less than a mile and half from the beach. Driving to Chetham is about little a hour drive from the house. To Provincetown, about 1 hour and 45 minutes drive.

We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay so much! The neighborhood is adorable for walking and our little one loved the playground right down the road. The house is so quiet yet so close to downtown and beaches. Will definitely be back!

There should be more than 5 stars for this lovely property and its hosts!!! We were three couples vacationing for the first time on the Cape and this charming home was perfect for us. Conveniently located to serve as home base for many excursions we felt immediately at home. We each had our own themed bedroom with en suite bathroom and TV. All common areas including the sun porch and outdoor deck were fantastic places to gather and enjoy our time together. Our hosts were so pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. As only one example, on a rainy day the host proactively contacted us wth suggestions on things to do in the event of rain on the Cape. We so appreciated this thoughtful gesture and there were many more. When I think about it, this really sums up why we had such a wonderful time. Everything about this property speaks to how much these hosts care about their guests! Hope to return one day. Thank you!

This home is beautiful. Paul was an amazing host. He gave very clear and helpful directions. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed. There were games that our group enjoyed playing and a lot to do in the area. Paul gave great recommendations of things to do in Wareham. If you are looking for a fun trip this is a great home to stay at. Thank you!

We have family with a house in the neighborhood but wanted our own place to retreat to and boy was Kimberly’s place a perfect retreat! We loved being steps from a private beach and having a back deck and balcony to enjoy- especially with the ocean breezes! The kitchen had everything we needed. The couches and beds were comfy and the mini splits kept the house just the right temperature. Loved the outdoor shower, too. I think we used almost every space at the house! Definitely planning a return trip.

Gino’s place was super clean and comfortable and matched the description. The kitchen was well appointed and equipped with all the essentials plus some nice extras; ice cream scoop, corn holders etc…. We were able to have another family over for dinner without an issue. The neighborhood was quiet on a non thru street, but not so quiet that a couple kids running around outside seemed out of place. Gino was super responsive and helpful and we would be happy to stay there again.

This house is absolutely divine. I wish I was an author and needing quiet time and a cup of tea to write. It is clean, spacious, and perfect for families looking for a weekend getaway with kiddos!

Family get together. After 10 hrs on the road, I was brain dead and entered my husband’s cell number and not mine. Paul responded immediately and was kind and understanding of my mistake. Paul’s home was spotless, equipped with all you need to cook a family meal. The beds were comfortable, and bedrooms were perfectly furnished. What you need without clutter. The bathrooms were spotless and there was room for 6 to shower in a timely manner. The entire home is beautifully furnished and decorated but not over done. The upper porch and fire pit would have been our gathering space if not for the NEer that hit the area. I cannot say enough good things about how well organized this house is for the beach and a weekend with the family.

The home was really great just as advertised and my family members felt right at home. Many family memories were made the back yard fire pit and grill was perfect for relaxing and laughing in the evening The beach and beautiful scenery just added to the experience two thumbs up from our littlest family member of 9 months who looked forward to his stroller ride to the beach every day Location was terrific close to Falmouth shops restaurants and ferry to Martha’s Vineyard Tam was very responsive and a great host We really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend to other families
