Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Marshfield

We easily found this super clean, comfortable, refurbed (but with some original touches left!) home in a safe safe, quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our pre-Christmas family gathering in this home that included a wide variety of interesting artwork, fun decorations, fluffy towels, and a BIDET (!!). For a relatively small house, there was lots of space, great TVs with streaming that worked, speedy wifi, a secure garage that we could use, and easy access to everything in the area (and Wausau/Scofield has lots to explore)! We loved every minute we spent in the house! Probably the cleanest airbnbs I've stayed at! Thank you, Erika! We're ready to come back in the spring!

We had a group of ten and we all had such a good time at Jennifer's place. We will bookmark this location to come back to in a few years or so when we have another reunion. Jennifer was very accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend!

Something about the Gambrel Guesthouse just makes me feel like I’ve truly escaped life for the weekend. The environment and peaceful “up north” setting is incredible, John and Claudia have done a great job with their beautiful home and property - and they made us feel so welcome! I live in North Carolina and was having a Christmas get together with family from multiple states. This was not only a great gathering location but is now my family’s new favorite place to stay on vacation!! I’ve stayed in Airbnbs from the mountains of Colorado to the coastline of Maine but there’s just something extra special about this place - I will return! Thank you so much, John, for hosting us!

Cozy and welcoming with a rustic charm! This was a great place to stay for a mother daughter get away. Nestled alongside the water in a quiet neighborhood but close to parks for walking, shops and the Wellness Spa - which was part of the intention for the trip. No TV, which was also right up my alley when looking for a quiet retreat away from the noise of everyday life. Highly recommend if you want quiet, rest and relaxation.

Even better than expected. Even off season (mid November) it was a beautiful getaway for our family. Had everything we needed and more. We had such a wonderful trip and really appreciated Sarah’s hospitality and excellent communication. Grateful to have gotten to stay here and looking forward to the next time we can visit!

Great stay at Big Bear’s Den! Peaceful, comfortable, and so many stars at night. Jay & family are the perfect hosts, they’re responsive, friendly and anticipate your needs. The cabin is well stocked, the beds and furniture are comfortable and it’s very very clean. The cabin is so cozy and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. This was our fourth stay here and we hope to be back next year.

We had a lovely sister's weekend, the private hot tub, sauna, and waterfront view was exceptional. We will be back for future trips!

I ended a business trip a week earlier than anticipated. Felicia was very understanding and credited back a week's worth of rent no questions asked. Very friendly and responsive host, would recommend staying here.

Nick is a great host. Immaculate property, great kitchen, furnished bedrooms with multiple dressers and a big kitchen. New appliances, plenty of parking, and very close to multiple places to eat. Easily the best bang for your buck in Wausau. Highly recommend Nick and this property.

We had a wonderful weekend away to celebrate a birthday and see the fall colors. We felt right at home here and the views were excellent! Victoria was very accommodating having everything we could have needed! We would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended the place to others. Thanks for making our stay perfect!

Perfect place. Within walking distance of a great restaurant experience (Father Fats), above Ruby Cafe, and the space was just like the pictures. Beds were cozy, space was clean and would absolutely stay here again

I loved Mike's apartment. The location was perfect; 20 minutes door to door to Sand Valley. Quiet neighborhood and easy to access. Comfortable twin beds with massage functions as well! Great kitchen and a nice bathroom and shower. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone coming up to the area

Fred’s place was just as described. It was very comfortable and clean. Fred provided very clear directions and helpful information. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a cozy and quiet stay away from home.
